Norm Violation Assignment In our community there are implicit rules or standards that are barely recognizable unless we take a step back to take note it. Standards are the fundamental rules of society that help us know what is and isn't fitting to do in any situation. The behavior that I choose to perform is sing loudly in a public place. I chosen to sing a different tune, a psalm, so whereas I was holding up for the transport to go to church I begun to sing. That day there were a parcel of individuals since it was a Sunday and the buses do not pass much, so there were as well numerous individuals. But I decided to do it more than once. The primary time I performed this I felt exceptionally awkward, and I seem tell that the individuals around me did too since they are not used to hearing individuals sing. I looked at their eyes looking at me at that point pondering, to dodge any sort of contact with me. I may too tell that their bodies strained up since I was making them uncomfortable. After doing this some more times and as I begun to feel increasingly comfortable with it, I gotten numerous diverse responses. At one point I thought they would make me halt, but this happened it was a man and myself holding up for a 2-dollar taxi. As I did my experiment, he begun to induce irate with me and asked, “What are you doing?”. I answered him that there was no rule that says that a individual can sing freely in a public space. He was attempting to treat me with his physical characteristics that he had control over me. He was a individual who was perhaps 6 foot tall and I was as it were 4 feet
11 inches, his voice got to be thick and crabby. I chosen to halt some time because I did not want to create an issue with the authorities. Be that as it may, another day I did the same, but I was waiting for them to charge me for my groceries within the store, I thought I was getting to have the same reaction as the past experiences, but no. A individual came to me know "I had listened those hymns sometime recently with my mother, she passed away last week from covid, thank you so much for singing and sharing your delight and your wonderful voice." In his eyes I saw appreciation, and in my eyes, there were as it were tears since there, I caught on that no matter the other distinctive points of view, possibly your action will alter and change someone’s heart.
