Description of a beach.

Summer is the perfect time for individuals to visit and enjoy the marvelous scenes along the coast. In addition, the feelings and experiences felt on the beach during the summer are always fantastic. Several sceneries and experiences are seen and felt at the beach during summer. These include; the plantation along the beach and inside the sea, the animals, the waters, and the people found on the beach.

The beach appears to be alive and joyful with the presence of the natural vegetation. There are evergreen plantations both along and inside the beach. Images of buoyant seaweeds can be seen along the shore. Palms trees are seen to stand tall along the beach, dancing to the tune of the breeze emanating from the waters of the sea.

The sea grapes and the sea oats are also observed gathered in clusters in the sea next to the shore. Their colored flowers are splendid and brighten at the shining of the summer sun. The sweet scent of the flower grapes sends a signal to the world about the hope brought by nature.

The atmosphere is fully intensified by the aroma produced by the buoyant sea flowers. In addition, from afar, images of leafless trees are also observed. The perfect combination of the vegetation along the beach and inside the sea displays the beauty of nature to the highest peak.

It mesmerizes the eyes to gaze at the beautiful creatures that hover all over the beach and on the deep-sea waters. There are sights of beautiful birds that fly all over the dry shoreland and over the seawaters. Their colored feathers brightened the sea with a marvelous appearance at their illumination by the sun’s rays.

There are varieties of birds that are in the vicinity. For instance, there are pelicans and seagulls. Pelicans are seen hovering over the sand, singing sweet melodies that make the atmosphere at the beach vibrant. The seagulls are also observed to be flying over the seawater in small groups. Some of the birds are gathered in groups spreading the wings that cloaked a soft shadow on the gentle water ripples.

Next to the shore, there are sea turtles that seem to enjoy the summer heat from the sun. Their eggs are also seen to be exposed on the sand by the children that play on the shoreline. Bees are seen flying from one flower to another over the sea grapes. The humming of the bees as they gather nectar from the sea flowers attracts insect-eating birds.

Large crowds are observed all over the seashore. These people come to enjoy themselves on the beach at this period of the year. In the sea, people of all ages and sexes are seen swimming and playing with the cool seawater. The scorching heat from the summer sun is felt on the forehead of all individuals.

This makes the people chill themselves in the cool waters of the sea. The children are seen playing beach ball on the shoreline. Some children are also seen pelt each other with sand on the shoreline. Besides, young boys are observed climbing tall palm trees to gather fruits.

What is more, several activities take place along and inside the shoreline. Vendors are seen carrying ice creams and soft drinks all over the shoreline. Views of homes, hotels, and other buildings that run along the peak of the beach are also seen. On the sand where children play, pieces of shells are scattered.

In most cases, children collect the shells for fun. In the shades built along the shoreline, people are seen reading books, journals, and magazines. Some are seen idling on the sand, while few adults are observed playing football.

However, there is a disgusting scene of plastic bags, cigarette butts, food wrappers, and beer bottles along the beach. These items seem to pollute the entire shoreline and the seawater.

Anglers are also observed far into the sea casting large nets into the waters to have a bulk catch of their prey. Some of the anglers are also observed perching on the edge of the shore carrying sticks in their hands. Their faces displayed the anticipation that they had for their prey.

The deep waters of the sea produce a marvelous view for anyone who gazes at the sea. The water is seen to be slowly running low on the shore. Small waves are also observed crashing on the shoreline. The surface of the sea is seen to appear blue in color.

However, some portions are also seen to have the spectrum that results from the sun’s refracted rays. Deep inside the sea, there are high waves that lift boats up and down mightily. The shimmering waves of the sea that are clear and blue mirror the rays of the hot sun. The refreshing breeze that emanates from the seawater is enjoyable.

In conclusion, the beach has a perfect view and activities that are delightful to experience during the summer. It is a place that everyone would love to be at all times.

Self needs to rest and relax after a long period of study and exposure to exams pressure, which makes summer holidays and high temperature of the atmosphere ideal opportunity to enjoy the sea and the moderate atmosphere of the beautiful beaches.

The pleasure of going to the sea is incomparable when you go with your family or friends. I remember last year when I went with my family to the beach in summer. The sea is about 400 km away. My father prepared the car and checked engine oil, battery, fuel, tires and belts. He booked for our stay at a hotel near the beach.

My mother and sister prepared everything we needed on our trip as light food and soft drinks to have on the way to the hotel. My sister prepared the necessary clothing for the sea, sunscreen and some essential medicines.

We did not take much food because we would be in a hotel in a coastal city that offers a buffet and there are many fish restaurants around the hotel.

We moved early in the morning to avoid the high temperature of summer and reach before roads congestion.

We stopped on our way for a short break to eat some sandwiches and have soft drinks. It was a simple rest area in the middle of the desert. We felt a sense of serenity and calm.

After four hours of driving, we arrived at the hotel at nine o’clock in the morning and went to our rooms to rest, change clothes and take all what we need to go to the beach.

We headed to the beach and we chose an isolated spot from the people, it had canopy and some comfortable plastic chairs and a large table.

We put our bags on the table and went to swim in the sea and then went out for lunch that my father ordered from a fish restaurant. The fish was fresh and tasty and we enjoyed our meal very much.

After lunch, we sat under the canopy enjoying the sea view, refreshing breaths, listening to music and playing some fun games.

Before returning to the hotel, we went back to the sea to finish our first day on this beautiful trip.

We all have some favorite places that we love to visit during the holidays. The beautiful scenes that we come across are a welcome reprieve for our tired minds after a long period of work.

Finding My Zen at the Beach

For me, the beach is the best place to be. Others may think differently due to unique preferences and tastes. Personally, I find that the seaside is a unique choice for a holiday destination. There is nothing quite as calming as the bright blue hues of the ocean. The wind dances with the waves, causing them to move almost rhythmically, capturing the attention of the vacationer.

Another reason why I love the beach is that I enjoy swimming. I particularly love doing this with my friends as the company makes swimming more fun and provides a great way for us to bond.

Sunsets at the Beach

Another stunning visual to be enjoyed by the seaside is the sunset. I truly enjoy the play of colors as day transitions into night – from dainty pinks to fiery oranges, even to rich purples. I find this picturesque experience exceptionally dynamic. It makes something inside me come alive. I don’t have this experience anywhere else.

One great thing about staying at the beach is that there is something to be enjoyed during the day and during the evening. I love that the beach stays open most hours as this gives me flexibility. I can choose when I want to visit and not have to follow a strict schedule, which works well when I’m on vacation.

The Beach During Evenings

I particularly love heading out at nightfall to visit the shoreline. The beach is very calm, peaceful, tranquil, and relaxing. It helps me unwind and takes away the stress that plagues me at work. Looking at the night sky with all the bright stars and the moon causes me to feel light-hearted.

The best part for me is once night sets in, I can lay in the sand and stare up at the sky. I just linger there with my toes in the soft sand and think of all the things I am grateful for. I also give thanks to the Almighty Creator who made these majestic works of art.

I can only hope that I get to do this more often. My dream is to be able to frequent the most beautiful beaches in the world, to revel in the peace that they offer.

Make Time for Rest

These days, people are so busy with work and other obligations that they forget to pause and take a breather.

The tendency for many passionate workaholics is they keep scheduling a time to take a break, only to postpone it when something urgent captures their attention. While some of these are valid reasons to reschedule, most are really just convenient excuses to stay busy.

The glorification of busyness is the sad reality that keeps people from being healthy and well. We work our bodies to death and don’t give ourselves a chance to come up for air. At some point in our lives, we have been sold a false idea of productivity: that we have to work 24/7, and that taking a break is a luxury.

Breathers should not be seen as luxuries but as necessities. Rest is actually a productivity strategy. The way to truly accomplish things excellently is to do so from a place of rest. Work smart and you check off your to-do list without the anxiety and the dread. Work hard and you will find yourself resenting the actual work because it’s just exhausting.

Don’t wait until you are burned out before you take a break. Schedule regular timeouts for yourself and use those times to “escape” to a place that helps you take a breath. Your soul, your work and your other commitments will thank you for it.

Whether it’s the sandy beaches for you or the mountains or any other hotspot, my hope for you is that you will also be able to find your sanctuary and safe space. Believe me when I say you need it and deserve it.

Think about this essay as an opportunity to tell a story about your summer while reflecting on the experiences you had. Choose a memorable moment you had this summer and start crafting your essay, giving as many details as possible.

Choosing a Topic

• These can also make nice visual aids if you are asked to present your essay.

• A list might be full of things like babysitting, attending a camp, working at a local store, taking a road trip, etc. This type of brainstorming can help you pick major events and other important moments from your summer.

• For example, maybe you spent your summer traveling around Japan. Think of a memorable moment you had while traveling — maybe you walked up a mountain in the pouring rain — and write about this moment, adding lots of details.

• For example, if you're writing about spending time at the beach, your outline could remind you to talk about the sandcastle building contest you entered, the dolphins you saw, and the ice cream you ate every day.

My favourite wildlife animal is the tiger and India comprises around 28 Tiger Reserves governed by Project Tiger which entirely focuses on the conservation of tiger, and I want to take a safari through the forest and click pictures of the tigers we encounter.

(By Mike McVay) At some point during grade school, you likely had a homework assignment during the first week back to school to recap what you did over the summer and share it with the class. I was among the few that liked the assignment. It gave me a chance to reflect on the summer, question how my life was changing, and think about what was ahead in the next year of school.

I also relished – like many on the content side – the opportunity to have the spotlight on me. While that essay went away as I progressed through school, I still keep in the habit.

This past summer was one that I absolutely enjoyed in both my work and personal life. Time with family made it good personally, while working with a new generation of content creators made it fantastic professionally. The excitement young Millennials and Gen Z have for all forms of media harkens back to the early career days experienced by many of us in radio.

The excitement to hear a new song, break a story, be part of an event, and entertain. This was before dreams were dashed or detoured, families uprooted, and expectations failed for some from the Baby Boomer, Gen X, and Gen Y generations. 

Radio, Podcasting, Digital, Streaming, Satellite, and social media are the outlets of the modern-day broadcaster. The audience doesn’t discern between mass media and niche media. It’s the ubiquity of the medium that excites the next generation. Why are they excited? They understand their message is being heard on multiple platforms. This generation also understands that they are their own brand, and their development benefits the development of the brand they represent.

What is most similar across generations? Those that respect the audience are the most successful. They understand that satisfying an audience is what it’s all about. 

This summer I witnessed firsthand the excitement of attendees to multiple conferences and seminars. I spoke at nine different conventions, seminars, summits, and regional gatherings. The enthusiasm witnessed was spectacular. The attendees were engaged. They took notes, pictures of screens, verbalized voice-to-text, and they attended the sessions. They paid attention.

Seeing such a commitment gives me great hope for what they’ll create, what mistakes we made they’ll learn from, and what they’re going to do or create that to date has been unimagined. 

Watching those under 35 create events around the Taylor Swift Eras Tour, bring back the promotional tool of The Street Team, using TikTok to magnify their brand, and participate in parades and community activities, was fulfilling. There’s value to being everywhere and being seen everywhere. It reminded me of some of the most amazing physical assets I’ve ever seen in my career. The difference being that today because of digital and social media, and everyone has a device on their person most hours of a day, you can connect directly with the audience and prospective listeners. 

WLRS in Louisville, a legendary Rock station in the ’70s and ’80s, had a blue firetruck that went to every event. They sold the naming rights to a soft drink company, and it became The WLRS Pepsi Pumper. It went everywhere. WLTF in Cleveland was an AC station with an ice cream truck that drove through neighborhoods in the summer. In Greensboro, WMAG morning star Bill Flynn created a replica Andy Griffith Show Mayberry Sheriff’s car and drove it in parades.

Those things were memorable. Imagine them being magnified with today’s digital and social media. There are many more examples.

What youth bring ideas without guardrails to the table. Combine that exuberance with the knowledge of time on earth , and you have the skeletal structure of a strategy. Being at conferences and seeing their enthusiasm, working with them, listening to what they have to say, and not living in the past made this a great summer.

I never want to be one of those people that believe it was better before, because it wasn’t. It’s better now. Carly Simon was right. These are “the good old days.” I hope that your summer was as good as mine.

2. Beach Yagrinskiy, Severodvinsk

What Song Was the Soundtrack of Your Summer?

If you had to choose a tune to describe your summer vacation, what would it be, and why?

The end of summer is approaching, and that means music fans’ favorite unwinnable debate is reaching its peak: What was the song of the summer?

That question may be difficult — if not impossible — to answer, as Lindsay Zoladz explains in a recent edition of her music newsletter, The Amplifier.

But even if you can’t decide on the song of the summer, we want to know the song of your summer. If you had to choose a tune to describe what your past three months were like, what would it be, and why?

In “ 8 Correct Answers to ‘What Was the Song of the Summer?’ ” Ms. Zoladz shares her contenders for the perennial debate:

… I’ll say that for the most part, the Song of the Summer is a fictitious and even pointless construction, generally immeasurable and usually difficult to agree on unanimously. Sure, every so often a single tune becomes so ubiquitous during those sweltering, school’s out months that it rightfully earns the title. Think of Lil Nas X’s chart-dominant “Old Town Road” in 2019; the viral glee of Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” in 2012; or, if you can remember that far back, the Bayside Boys remix of Los Del Rio’s “Macarena” in 1996 (Ay!). But more often than not, the Song of the Summer is up for debate. And given that I believe a true S.o.t.S. must be monocultural and undeniable, most contenders do not truly reach that status. Around Memorial Day, it did seem like we had a prime candidate: the rising pop star Sabrina Carpenter’s fun, flirty “Espresso.” It had all the makings of a summer smash, including a well-timed release date, a beach-themed music video and several goofy, endlessly quotable lyrics that just begged to be printed on novelty boardwalk T-shirts. Case closed, right? But as the summer continued, “Espresso” faced some formidable challengers. The Drake -vs.- Kendrick Lamar beef produced a bona fide anthem in “Not Like Us,” by most measures the biggest hit of Lamar’s career. The rise of the Midwest princess Chappell Roan became one of the year’s most captivating narratives, and her wrenching synth-pop single “Good Luck, Babe!” climbed the Hot 100 accordingly. Even Carpenter herself gave “Espresso” a run for its money with its irresistible follow-up single, “Please Please Please,” which achieved a feat that her previous hit did not: It went to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. So, which was the Song of the Summer? Today’s playlist contains eight different and entirely acceptable answers to the question. If I had to pick just one, I’d still go with “Espresso,” but I’d argue this summer contained too many unexpected plot twists for there to be a unanimous winner. Maybe it’s just one of those years where you need a collection of different tunes to tell the full story of the season.

What is summer like in Russia? (PHOTOS)

One of the most common stereotypes about Russia is that it is always cold, especially in Siberia. True enough, winters in Siberia can be snowy and last a long time . But, what is summer like in other regions? Take a look at the following photos taken in June 2023. 

By and large, summer in Moscow is very pleasant, with temperatures averaging in the 20-25°C range. When it’s hot, street sprinklers come out onto the city roads, while Muscovites can find shelter in the shade of numerous parks.

2. St. Petersburg

The main feature of summer in St. Petersburg are the ‘White Nights’, which attract romantics from all over and make the city particularly beautiful. St. Petersburg is situated on the shores of the Gulf of Finland (Baltic Sea) and even the warmest summer days can frequently give way to rain. 

3. Kaliningrad

Russia’s westernmost region is also on the Baltic and summers are mild and pleasant, with hot days above 25°C being somewhat an exception. Moreover, some of the towns near Kaliningrad are among the most popular summer holiday destinations, including for beach holidays. 

4. Novosibirsk

Although summers are short in Siberia, they are very hot, particularly in the south of the region. For instance, in Novosibirsk the first week of June saw temperatures of around 35°C (and even higher in places). This only tends to last a few days, however, but it’s enough to acquire a “holiday” tan!

5. Omsk 

It’s a similar situation in Omsk and Krasnoyarsk. At the same time, the sweltering heat can abruptly give way to rain and sometimes ground frost, so there are places in Siberia where the snow doesn’t manage to melt in the course of the summer.

6. Novy Urengoy

People who live on the Yamal Peninsula in northern Russia take the vagaries of the weather in their stride. There can suddenly be snow in June, while August can bring rain and a touch of frost. The month of July - when temperatures are constantly above 25°C - is regarded as summer “proper”. In addition, June-August sees the start of the season of real ‘White Nights’. In other words, they have a very interesting climate!

7. Gelendzhik

Krasnodar Territory is Russia’s warmest region, where snow and below-freezing temperatures are rare even in winter (except for the mountains). At the Black Sea resorts, the swimming season opens at the beginning of June, but the water only really warms up by July, while the hottest days can be expected in August.

On the Volga River, temperatures are still on the cool side in June, but, by July, a really hot summer sets in. In Kazan, the summer days are very popular for river trips to the island town of Sviyazhsk, the ancient town of Bolgar and the Blue Lakes.

Summer in the Urals, as in Siberia, is usually fairly warm and, sometimes, there can even be a heatwave. At the same time, people rarely leave the house without an outdoor jacket, since, in Perm and Yekaterinburg, it gets chilly after sunset.

10. Vladivostok

Many people in Russia are convinced that the rainiest city in the country is St. Petersburg, but meteorologists don’t agree. The largest amount of precipitation occurs in the Far East: on Sakhalin and the Kuril Islands and in Kamchatka and the Maritime Territory. In the course of a couple of weeks in June, for instance, Vladivostok can see very strong downpours, followed by temperatures of 30°C and then a cooling to 15°C!
