The title page of your thesis or dissertation should include your name, department, institution, degree program, and submission date.

Usually, no title page is needed in an MLA paper . A header is generally included at the top of the first page instead. The exceptions are when:

  • Your instructor requires one, or
  • Your paper is a group project

In those cases, you should use a title page instead of a header, listing the same information but on a separate page.

The title page of your thesis or dissertation goes first, before all other content or lists that you may choose to include.

In most styles, the title page is used purely to provide information and doesn’t include any images. Ask your supervisor if you are allowed to include an image on the title page before doing so. If you do decide to include one, make sure to check whether you need permission from the creator of the image.

Include a note directly beneath the image acknowledging where it comes from, beginning with the word “ Note .” (italicized and followed by a period). Include a citation and copyright attribution . Don’t title, number, or label the image as a figure , since it doesn’t appear in your main text.

This work explored on the common concerns in offering Bachelor of Science in Office Administration Program in a state university: one is graduates? employment second is the curriculum relevance as assessed by its alumni. The significant results are presumed inputs on future curriculum enhancement. Objectives have been very significant since state universities and colleges being government regulated schools need to be insightful if their graduates are being employed. The study utilized descriptive survey method employing validated questionnaire checklist and interview. Particularly, it involved the 54 graduates of 2014, 2015 and 2016 at University of Rizal System Rodriguez. The results revealed that respondents are still young and single and that females still prefer to take the course. Furthermore, almost all of the graduates involved or 80 percent are currently employed a significant benchmark that the course is still vendible in various industries. However, the study may have not yet clearly establish the job satisfaction since graduates are just starting to explore the spheres of work. On the curriculum relevance, graduates landed in the entry level position of the course which indicates that they obtained useful elements in their study that are applicable to their works. The results clearly established the significant relationship between employment status and curriculum relevance which means that program implementation preparing the students to be office professionals was concomitant with their employment experiences.

Employability is one of the indicators on the relevance of program offerings in higher education institutions. It measures the marketability of graduates in any program. If graduates cannot land a job based on the course and specialization taken in college that means the graduates are not employable. This article shows how employable are the graduates of BSE & BEE programs of the University of Rizal System Antipolo City from School Year 2003-2004 to 2012-2013. Results showed that the BSE and BEE graduates are employed in public schools. The knowledge and skills they acquired in college such as communication, human relations, information technology problem solving and critical thinking are very useful and the different areas such as general, professional education and specialization subjects of the programs are useful to the works of the graduates.

In the modern era, the chosen career of a person is usually irrelevant to the course he/she had taken. The discrepancy of the course and the present career is questionable, which is why tracing each graduates and their activity is being conducted in most universities and colleges. Despite the high number of graduates in the Philippines, there is still a tendency for a person to shift their career right after graduating. It has been observed that a person would learn his/her capability to do certain things after the experiences that he/she had gone through. On the other hand, there are still a number of graduates who pursued teaching despite disadvantages of doing so. In order to keep abreast of their latest activities, the researchers sought to determine the employability of the graduates of BS Accountancy and BS Accounting Technology of the University of the East – Manila from 2011 to March 2016, to determine the job placement profile of the graduates and relevance of school related factors to job placement. It also identified the work related values and skills that contribute in meeting the demands of the present jobs. Furthermore, this research proposes a program to improve employment rate for BS Accountancy and BS Accounting Technology graduates of University of the East – Manila.

Mindoro State College of Agriculture and Technology – Calapan City Campus (MinSCAT-Calapan City Campus) is the only institution of higher learning in Oriental Mindoro which offers the Bachelor of Technical Teacher Education (BTTE) program. Tracing back its roots, the MinSCAT Calapan Campus was established as a government secondary school in 1961 but only started operating five years later. In 1972, CSAT merited the approval of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports (MECS) to offer Technical Education Curriculum.

Employability is a challenge for graduates of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) due to their failure to meet the current labour market expectations. HEIs have been blamed for producing graduates who fail to meet employment demands in the labour market. This study focused on assessing the perspective of final year students on the proficiency of their employability skills. It also gathered employers’ views and perceptions regarding the required employability skills from graduates. It also assessed the preparedness of final year students for employment. The study employed a descriptive design and the results were analysed quantitatively. It adopted two sets of standard questionnaires to students of the Institute of Social Work and employers who were randomly selected from private, public and non government organisations in Dar es Salaam. Findings show that there is significant difference in prioritization of the employability skills between employers and final year students. For example, self awareness, application of knowledge and team working were ranked first, second and third respectively by employers while final year students ranked team working, self awareness and application of knowledge the first, second and sixth respectively. The students assessed themselves below 45% on good and excellent in all groups of employability skills. Furthermore, it was found that 67% of final year students made preparatory strategy towards employment prospects. However, Dependability skill was ranked last by both employers and final year students. It was also found that there was significant correlation between final year students and employers perceptions on the relative importance of employability skills. The study came up with a number of recommendations including the need for formulation or review of Career Advisory Services (CAS) at HEIs for creation of short term programmes on employability as supported by human capital theory.
