How Many Years In Ph.D. After MCA?

3-5 years is the maximum duration of PhD after a MCA , it also depends upon the PhD program as well as the university. Another factor that also affects it is your desired specialisation for your PhD and the research dissertation that you are working on.

Is Ph.D. After MCA Beneficial ?

Computer Applications is the field with the most rapid growth and opportunity for innovation, and it is the vocation of choice for a huge number of hopefuls. Prospective employment and the dynamic work environment it ensures have boosted the appeal of many computer science courses. The majority of computer scientists focus on the application side of the field rather than the theoretical or research side. A PhD after an MCA, on the other hand, gives you research skills in the subject and broadens the range of positions available in the sector. MCA, on the other hand, is restricted to the fundamental theoretical aspects of computer applications as well as practical expertise. a PhD builds an in-depth perspective of the subject.

Ques. Will MCA be difficult for me as a BSc student?

Ans.  As a BSc student, you will find MCA a bit challenging because of the technical aspects and the topics it covers. It is a computer application-focused program featuring topics like programming languages, advanced programming concepts, databases and more. If you have done a BSc in specialisations like computer science or mathematics, you may find MCA easier because of some of the overlapping topics like discrete mathematics, calculus, statistics, programming basics or computer networks.

Ques. How can I remain relevant after my MCA degree?

Ans.  Remaining relevant in the industry is important if you want to secure the latest jobs and keep an edge on others. Many emerging technologies are going to shape future processes. You should choose one field and focus on it completely to build a strong foundation and skills. Working on the skill set is important and you can consider open-source contribution projects, internships and hackathons for the same. AI, machine learning, game development, android app development and data analytics are some of the top fields that are going to be relevant in the future.

Ques. How can I secure my first job after MCA?

Ans.  There are certain things that you should consider to secure your first job after MCA effectively. You can check the top aspects below.

  • Resume building is important as it serves as an entry point. Your resume should be ATS-friendly and must be in a format. You should mention your experience or top 3 projects along with technical skills and education.
  • You should focus on clearing on-campus placements because of the tough competition. You should start with small companies or startups, skill up and then target top organisations.
  • You should leverage the potential of networking. You must connect with industry professionals and seniors on social media for application push.
  • You should opt for internships to develop hands-on skills. Many companies also promote interns to full-time positions based on their performance.
  • Job preparation is one of the most important factors. You should equally focus on DSA and development. You can also consider mock interviews and interview experiences.

Ques. Is MCA worth it? Should I consider it in 2024?

Ans.  MCA degree can be a worthy investment in 2024 because of the potential transformation of the IT industry resulting in various job opportunities. You should consider MCA if you have a non-computer science background and seeking technical roles. You will get decent on-campus packages from top companies like Amazon, Atlassian and more with average pay of around INR 15 LPA.

You should not pursue an MCA if you do not like coding jobs or already have coding experience through internships, jobs or open-source programs. You should instead focus on interview preparation and get the job directly.

Chandigarh University Review for MCA

Campus life.

There are many events and functions like CU tamasha and CU fest in which they have invited Celebrity. There are various books in the library and the library is so huge. They provide simple projectors in classes. There are many sports played in the Chandigarh University.

Course Curriculum Overview

The teaching methods are good, they are providing us the PowerPoint presentations and we have suffered a lot with that stuff. But there is a good thing there are the subjects which are demanding in the Market.

Techno India review

Loan/ scholarship provisions.

My yearly fee is 1,40,000 and admission fee is 10000 and also they take 5000 for uniform which is compulsory and library fee is included in uniform charges. Also for students who have done their graduation from techno India group there fee is 1,20,000 per year.

In today's generation the most rapidly growing industry is information technology industry and it's very important for us to understand this technology and grow our skills on coding and AI which is the most powerful and trending topic .

College Life In MEASI

I completely my bachelors and I have searching for a good institution on that time I have come across Measi and I just verify that the mentioned they will provide proper education to the students and so I have applied for the college and the admissions fees was cost around 500 which is non refundable and they called me they said that there will be 3 rounds The first one is Aptitude, Second one is Verbal communication skill via telephonic and finally f2f interview with the board members. In the f2f interview I have asked few technical questions and about my previous projects, after completion that I have recived a call and the said that you have selected and they ask to pay the fees. So that's it about my admissions process that was pretty nice and they gave me extra chance for the interview since my background is non CS. All the faculties are well trained except few staffs. I won't tell that the staff is not fill but they are not properly conveying the concept to the students.

The college lab and library has wide range fo accessibilities and we can use the resources after the colllege hours too all staff are supporting to students for sport and extra activities also and we have introduced 4 clubs on 2024 students can participated in this clubs and they can showcase their talents.

Best college to study and placements. Best future for students.

Very well satisfaction, really I got good experience every person treat me very kindly. I saw a quality in their management is treated me gently and gave me good guidelines. I paid 22000 per 6 months. And they are given scholarships. That course fees are not increasing. I got a scholarship from the college by aid based on family income.

Our college management is conducting college day, sports day, and science exhibition, along with the months they are typically held. 100 percentage of books and journals are available in the library. The projector and other facilities are provisions within the classrooms. Then sports and extracurricular activities are offered on campus.

Internships opportunities.

IBM CSRBOX is the internship that came up. The intership of 1-month duration. No stipend is offered. They will conduct 15 days of classes and 15 days of project time. They will select some projects from overall projects offerd to other colleges also. For our hard work, we were selected. Our project name is WORK PATH. We are the 3rd runner-up in the programs.

I got the seat in tsicet. So I can get reimbursement of 27000. The total college fee was 30000. Another 13000 needs to be paid. In the second year of MCA, the fee is increased to 18000 and reimbursement 27000. For SC and ST they will get full fee reabusment. No need to pay a fee. A library lab fee is 7000 only needs to be paid in 1st year at admission time.

Review of Jntu,Hyderabad

Placement experience.

Students get the offers from the middle of 2nd semester.Companies like accenture, infosys visited the campus till now for my batch. It started just a month back we are still waiting for the exams. The placement percentage will be around 30-40% for this course. If the more students are capable of clearing the interviews the percentage increases.Till now for our batch the highest package mentioned in the application is 9.5lpa and lowest is 4.5lpa

Total fees for my particular course is 30000. There is a scholarship for the students with low income which is provided by government of telangana and the reimbursement amount is 27000.Fees paid by me is 3000 per year and there will be an admission fee during the join of the course.Other than this there will be exam fees for each semester which will be around 1100

Kongu College review

The curriculum for mca is at current trends, we learn basic languages like java, python, and we have lot of labaratory periods, we well prepared for the real world applications, they even have frame works for the particular subject

The faculty members is awesome and well experienced they are teaching well and good, there is no restriction to contact faculty at any time regarding ask our doubts to them, Most faculty personally guide us for our career

best private university

Overall life at CU is good getting good exposure with different students coming from different states. The building of a decent community. Mostly hostels have a good social culture. organize different club activities to increse your social personality.

college collab with some organizations to provide industries demanding skills, which helps the student to prepare them for companies, giving the chance them to work with the latest project. also that companies pride them on placement assistance.

Best college

There are lot of annual festival is happening in my college like Enthusia, Swaram. There is a huge library in our campus. The sports and extracurricular activities are also good among students. Most of them run their own socail clubs.

The tuition fee is 75000/year and bus fees is depends upon the location average fees is 10000.There are numerous scholarships available for students. The scholarship amount range from 10,000 to 20,000 like national scholarship.

Good college with Good placements

The faculty-to-student ratio is good in our college as it is very important so that each students get the same acces and interaction with them. In our college there are some faculties who were very good and they made our learning experience very easy, interactive and great and also there were some faculty members who I think should improve their teaching techniques. We can interact with teachers whenever we want

The tuition fee does get increased with years there is no fixed rate of such hikes for my case increase of fees between my fees and next new batch was around 10‰ . The complete cost can be around 4-5 lacks depending on your expenses. There are couple of government scholarship available which you can apply there is no such at college level. There is very less opportunities available for campus employment.

College Review

The course curriculum is the very best of the college. this is updated for the new syllabus. this college ensure good teaching method provide the students. they provide each of the subject materials by the faculty they are very helpful of each of the students.

factulty are very good in the college. they are helpful for student.they are very qualified faculty. allmost all the faculty are done phd. they are highly qualifed.they have very much experience of this industry

Best college for MCA in pune

Fee structure for master's of computer application in this college are 1lakh/year the overall cost of MCA in dy Patil University are 3 to 4 lakh including accommodation and hostel you can also take the scholarship

In this college the faculty members are well educated and supportive they will teach us to choose the right career options for the students and other staff the overall experience of this college is very much good

Overall teaching is good but not good for extra curricular activities

Teaching by most experienced faculty bhanu Murthy sir and vamshi Krishna sir influed me more to learn more. The one who wants to learn real knowledge about technology can get here Curriculum is good enough to explore more about real world but according to me it is based on the student interest. Replacing more experienced faculty needed Examination timings are depended on University instructions as they are lagging for MCA course from corona and I give a rating of 8 for difficult level

Annual day for whole PG college and farewell and freshers are held only within course students Library and books accessories are plenty smart classes like projector and labs are provided Sports and extracurricular activities offered by college are very less compared to other colleges Ragging is prohibited in our college so students can concentrate more on studies

My Review of my college

After 2nd semester, students become eligible for placements. Not many companies came to hire the MCA candidates. The average package was atleast 3 LPA. Around 15% from the MCA candidates got a job from college placements, while others had to find it from their own.

Minimum Faculties are well behaving. While most of them talk very rudely and doesn't help students much. Even some officials doesn't think about students health and tell to notify other faculties and sit in the class and attend them, whatever the illness is!

Best technical college

The faculty are highly educated in the individual subject they are given to taught. The faculty make us learn things verbally in class and practically in the labs. They help us to understand better and try hard to make us get understand each and every thing. The faculty are available for students anytime excluding the time they are teaching the other class, they are eager to solve our problem on a priority note

My campus life has been a fulfilling journey, blending education, social interaction and personal development within a supportive and resource-rich environment. The campus infrastructure plays a crucial role in supporting student life. Modern classrooms, well equipped labs and a comprehensive library provides the necessary resources for academic success.

Wish you a great Learning!

Updated Course with all the latest topics that has need to be covered and Also do project of latest tech like I have beed created AI model in during my academic journey with the integration of latest technology and helps by the facilities where I stuck during the projects. They are very helpful and Familiar to teach their students.

Educational Background - check their academic degree and Specialization Experience - They has 10+ year of experience in thier industry. Teaching Style - Effective and robust knowledge of teaching, Research and Publication, Professional development, Student feedback

College Life

This year our college placements are not good there have few opportunities but companies are hiring very low amount of students like 2 or 3... From my dep only 5-6 students are placed in 60 students Now I prepared for off campus placement and now I learning some new technologies and applying for off campus opportunities

This course is good but only 2 years course but I think if this course running 3 year thats is good for students cause they are learning more technologies and work on different types of projects this is the only thing if it changes then well for students

We receive several queries from MCA (Master of Computer Applications) aspirants on a regular basis. Some wonder about whether they are eligible for MCA admissions while others wonder what academic pursuits and career trajectories they might take after completing the program.

This post aims to be a lighthouse – guiding you through the seas of doubt and uncertainty – and providing you with all the clear, concise answers you need.

Can MCA be done after BA?

Master of Computer Applications after BA

Yes, MCA can be done after BA. The eligibility criteria for admission to an MCA program may vary from university to university, but it is generally required that candidates have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks. Some universities may also require candidates to have a background in mathematics, either at the 10+2 level or in their undergraduate degree.

MCA aspirants should make sure that they have a strong foundation in mathematics and computer science. If necessary, they can take some bridge courses before applying for mCA admissions.

Besides software developer, web developer, database administrator, system analyst, and IT consultant, those who have done Master of Computer Applications after Bachelor of Arts can also opt for jobs like writers, social media managers, video editors, instructional designers or e-learning developers, and even program managers or development directors in the nonprofit sectors.

Can MCA be done after B.Com?

Yes, MCA can be done after B.Com. In fact, many students who graduate from B.Com programs choose to pursue an MCA degree in order to gain the technical skills and knowledge they need to enter the IT industry. Can I do a CA after an MCA?

Can I become CA as an MCA graduate?

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) only requires you to have cleared Class 12 exam for appearing in the CA Foundation exam – the entry-level exam for the CA course. You can register for the CA Foundation course online on the ICAI website. You need to clear this exam (which is held twice a year – in June and December).

As an MCA graduate, you can skip this step and directly move on to the next step through the Direct Entry Scheme (for which you need at least 55% in your Bachelor’s degree) – which is to join the CA Intermediate course. In this case, CA aspirants will need to complete a compulsory 4-month Integrated Course on Accounting Knowledge (ICITSS) before you can start your article ship.

The steps you need to follow will be:

  • Enroll in the CA Intermediate course. This is a 2-year course that covers a wide range of topics related to accounting, finance, taxation, and auditing.
  • Pass the CA Intermediate exam. This exam is held twice a year, in May and November.
  • Do the 4-month Integrated Course on Accounting Knowledge (ICITSS) course (if you opt for the Direct Entry Scheme).
  • Complete your article ship. This is a 3-year period of practical training that must be completed under the supervision of a chartered accountant.
  • Pass the CA Final exam. This exam is held twice a year, in May and November.
