The IGNOU has released the guidelines that students must comply while preparing and submitting their assignments. Here are the updated guidelines:

All the assignment should be hand written.

Students must use A4 ruled paper (unless it is instructed on your TMA).

Leave 4 cm margin on left and right side of each page.

Do not use staplers, to bind the pages; you use need threads (what is typically found with cover files).

Avoid using any ink colour other than blue and black.

First you need to attach the cover page (You will find it at your study centre).

Then, attach a photocopy of your IGNOU ID card.

After that, attach a copy of your TMA (question paper on your assignment document).

Lastly, attach your hand written answers.

Leave one blank page in the end.

Do not use any files while submitting your assignments. Your assignment should only consist of the pages, tied with a thread.

You must take a submission receipt, which will be stamped by the study centre with submission dates. In case, your study centre is unable to provide you one, take a photocopy of the cover page of your assignment and get that stamped.

Note: For submission of practicals, you need to use a cover file.

IGNOU pushes June 2024 term end exam assignment deadline to April 30

T he Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has pushed back the deadline for the submission of assignments for the June 2024 term-end examinations (TEE), offering relief to enrolled candidates.

In response to the prevailing circumstances, IGNOU announced on April 2 that candidates now have until April 30 to submit their assignments, projects, dissertations, fieldwork journals, and internship reports for the upcoming June 2024 TEE.

An official statement from IGNOU affirmed the extension, stating, "With the approval of the competent authority, the last date for submission of assignments (both in hard copy and soft copy) for term end examination, June 2024 for both ODL and online programmes, GOAL and EVBB has been extended up to April 30."

Candidates are required to submit both hard and soft copies of their assignments through the official IGNOU website - ignou.ac.in.

In addition to the assignment submission extension, IGNOU has also extended the deadline for the submission of examination forms. Candidates now have until April 22 to submit their examination forms for the June 2024 TEE.

The term-end examinations for the June 2024 session are scheduled to commence from June 1, 2024, according to the official notice released by IGNOU.

IGNOU TEE EXAMINATION FEES

Candidates filling out the examination forms for the June 2024 TEE are required to pay a fee of Rs 200 per course, covering both theory and practical/lab courses. Additionally, students admitted from January 2023 onwards will face additional charges for practical and project evaluation.

This extension provides much-needed flexibility for IGNOU students, ensuring they have ample time to prepare and submit their assignments ahead of the upcoming term-end examinations.

NEW DELHI : The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date to submit assignments for the Term-End Examination (TEE) June 2023 for online and Online Distance Learning till May 15. IGNOU June TEE 2023 will be conducted from June 1. Students appearing for the exams can check the June 2023 datesheet on the official website – ignou.ac.in.

“With the approval of the Competent Authority, the last date for submission of assignments (both in hard copy and soft copy) for Term End Examinations, June2023 for ODL, Online programmes, GOAL and EVBB ha:s further been extended up to 15th MAY, 2023,” said an official notice from IGNOU.

Students need to submit one hand-written assignment for each eight credit course. Students have to submit fresh assignments and once they are uploaded, the old assignments are not valid.

How to submit IGNOU assignments?

Submit assignments to your study centre or regional centre as per the instructions given by the regional centre. Include your contact information (programme code, course code, enrollment no, email, phone) on assignments.
If only hard copies are being accepted as per instructions provided by your regional centre, send hand written, signed assignments to the address provided to you. In case soft copies are being accepted during extenuating circumstances such as Covid 19, these must be signed and scanned. If you have opted for SOGDS as your RC, submit your assignments to [email protected]
Assignments must be submitted as single documents for each course. Do not submit separate pages and do not combine assignments for two courses in a single document.

“In case you miss the assignment submission deadline, you may still be able to submit it late. However, this may entail a late fee for the related Term End Exam. If you have submitted the assignment but miss an exam, you can appear for the exam in any subsequent semester,” said IGNOU in FAQs.

What is Assignment Submission Deadline in IGNOU ?

IGNOU assignment last date is also called the deadline to submit assignment at Study center. Online mode (OL) learner need to submit assignment at LMS (Learning Management System). As per University Calendar Assignment submission is done twice every year for June and December session .

Any student who got admitted in Jan 2022 Admission Cycle and his/her programme is Year based (Eg : MEG, MPS, MCOM, MPA etc) such learner is supposed to submit 1st Year assignment between 1 - 30th Sep 2021 and this session is considered as TEE DEC 2022 SESSION . For any extension in submission date for that session may be checked on the website. Failing in assignment submission for TEE DEC 2022 SESSION, then leaner can submit the assignment in the next coming cycle.

2. For Student of Semester based UG, PG, Diploma, PG Diploma and Certificate programme

Any student who got admitted in Jan 2022 Admission Cycle and his/her programme is Semester based (Eg: BCA, MCA, MP, PGCCL etc) such learner is supposed to submit 1st Semester assignment between 1 - 30th March 2021 and this session is considered as TEE JUNE 2022 SESSION .For any extension in submission date for that session may be checked on the website. Candidates can now submit the hard copy or soft copy of the assignments for both Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online programmes till December 15, 2022. Online Assignment Submission

For online submission, there are two ways of assignment submission.

Online Submission on Portal: Students who wish to submit assignments online through portal should follow this procedure:

Step – 1 – Visit the official IGNOU portal at http://ignou.ac.in and go to your Regional center.

Step – 2 – IGNOU will display the Google Form link for assignment submission at the appropriate time in the News and Events section.

Step – 3 – Click the link to open and register yourself with your name, enrolment number, and other necessary details

Step – 4 – Upload the documents one by one carefully matching the subject code

Step – 5 – When all the uploads are done, submit the assignments.

Online Submission through Email: Sometimes the university may ask the students to send the assignments through email to avoid litigation and other issues. In this case, the students will have to carefully arrange the assignment with the cover page and email it to the respective regional email addresses. The largest distance educational institution in the country “IGNOU” has extended the dates of submission of TEE assignments for June 2022. Now, students can submit their projects and assignment before the 30th of June, 2022.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University has again extended the dates of assignment submission as per the latest announcement by the university administration. The new dates for the submission of assignments are the 30th of June, 2022. Earlier, the date was extended to June 15th, 2022. This extension is for both online and offline submission to various programs.

The Term End Examination for June 2022 session is about to commence in IGNOU. So, many students who haven’t prepared their projects and assignments were looking for hope from IGNOU in the form of an extension of assignment dates. Now, IGNOU comes up with this huge relaxation for the students who want to take part in the assignment or project submission activities. The assignments and projects are a very necessary part to appear for the examination be it semester-wise or annually. Candidates can easily get more information regarding the submission of these assignments, dissertations and projects using the official website of IGNOU are ignou.ac.in.

Candidates can submit their projects, fieldworks, dissertations, journals, files, thesis, reports etc. The earlier notice of IGNOU said that the last date of IGNOU assignment submission is June 15th, 2022. Now, Students can easily submit their assignments before the new last date announced by the university which is June 30th, 2022.

According to the official notice of the Indira Gandhi National Open University said that the concerned department and authorities have agreed to extend the assignment submission dates for the candidates so that they can easily fill the form for the June 2022 session. The last date for the submission of the lab works, assignments, practicums, dissertations, records, internships, journals etc can be submitted either online or through physical mode by the candidates before the last of 30th of June, 2022.

When Does the Final June TEE Examination Will Start?

The tentative date for the start of the examinations of the June TEE 2022 session is September 5th, 2022. Students are required to fill out the examination forms without a late fee till June 25th this year. From the 26th of June to the 30th, the late fee will be charged which is 1000 rupees INR.

Candidates of IGNOU need to pay a rupee of 200 per course for both theory and practical examinations. This fee can be easily paid online mode i.e net banking, credit or debit card etc.

How to Apply for June 2022 Session?

Students need to visit the web portal of IGNOU that is ignou.ac.in.
Then, they have to hit the New Registration link and then provide all the details there in the form with accurate information.
After that, they need to hit the Register Now button and press the Submit tab.
A unique enrollment ID and password will be sent to their personal email address.
They should pay the registration fee that is mandatory to register for the new course they want to study.
Save the registration and application form for future references.
