How to find and extract the research documents from the Ashika Science Center in Warzone 2 DMZ
The science center on Ashika Island is one of the map’s many potential hotspots, and it just so happens that one of Warzone 2 ‘s DMZ faction quests involves raiding this building. The ‘Toxic Research’ mission will have players rummaging through the center hoping to snatch sensitive info. Thankfully, this job isn’t as complicated as the others. Here’s how to do it in Warzone 2 DMZ, which includes how to find and extract the research documents from the Ashika Science Center.
Warzone 2 DMZ — Where to find Ashika Science Center research documents
The center is located directly west of Tsuki Castle, right between the Town Center and the Ashika Power Plant . Players will need to get a copy of the Research Center Room key — they won’t be able to get the research documents from the Ashika Science Center without it. There’s no need to bring anything else here (except maybe for a gun or two ).
Random keys often drop from HVTs, so try completing some of Warzone 2 DMZ’s HVT elimination contracts in hopes of getting one . Alternatively, loot the coats and jackets hanging on walls as they might have a spare key or two in their pockets.

The location of the research documents in Warzone 2
Once you get the Research Center Room key, head to the second floor of the center and look for the grey door marked with an X . Open it up and loot everything inside. The research documents should be near the desk . There should also be a couple of orange supply caches here, which may contain weapons, valuables, or even Building 21 Access Cards. After all of that’s done, head to the nearest exfil zone, call a chopper, and head home.
The Ashika Science Center isn’t as heavily fortified as its neighboring Strongholds, but you can bet there are still some Shadow Company agents in the general area. Also, since this building is a quest area, there’s a big chance that other players will be trying to get the research documents as well, so keep an eye out.

How to Complete Toxin Research Mission in DMZ
If you are a fan of Call of Duty games, then you’ve definitely heard of Call of Duty Warzone 2 by now. Although Activision’s latest title in the COD franchise didn’t start off so well, it has battled its way through the warzone to the top of many players’ lists – pun intended. The game offers plenty of intense battles with lots of action as you duke it out with AI enemies or even other players in its different modes. However, the community’s favorite by far has been DMZ, where you collect as much loot as you can from the zone as possible.
There are plenty of side missions and quests in Warzone 2 DMZ which you can complete in order to earn a wide variety of rewards, including weapon insurance slots or other great bonuses to improve your gameplay progress. In this guide we cover the Toxin Research mission, which is a Tier 4 faction mission assigned by the White Lotus faction.

How Do You Complete Toxin Research in Warzone 2?
The largest issue that players will face when attempting to complete Toxin Research is that it certainly makes you trek around the map for a bit. Make sure that you are first familiar with both the smuggling tunnels and also the Ashika Science Center before attempting it. Here are the three parts to this mission that you must complete.
- Obtain the research documents from the Ashika Science Center .
- Bring these research documents down into the smuggling tunnels .
- Also, you will need to put a gas can in the smuggling tunnels .
How Do You Find the Research Documents?
You will first need the Research Center Key, which can be obtained by killing high-value targets for a Contract or can be found in Al Mazrah. After that, head to E5 where you can find the Ashika Science Center, and enter it before heading to the second floor of the building. Take the first right you can, and then use the Research Center Key to unlock the door, behind which you will find the research documents you are looking for under a desk.
Grab the Gas Can
Your next step is to grab a gas can to bring into the smuggling tunnels with you, which can be found at various parts along the map. Bringing both items at once will help to save you precious time in DMZ and accomplish this quest a lot quicker than if you did them one at a time. Double check before you head into the smuggling tunnels that you have both items on you.
Leave the Items in the Smuggling Tunnels
As you can see above on the map, head to the smuggling tunnels entrance first and then go down the well to access them. AI cannot use the rappel to get into the tunnels, so you will know that no enemies are sneaking up behind you as you make your way to the drop point. Once you arrive to the specified part of the map, place both the gas can and research documents there and enjoy your success! Congratulations on completing this mission!

How to complete the Shadow Company Intel mission in DMZ
Completing faction missions is the primary progression path for the DMZ mode. And since the launch of Call of Duty’s season four on June 14, completing these missions has become vital to unlocking major necessary upgrades such as an expanded stash, more insured slots, and daily urgent missions.
One of these missions, Shadow Company Intel, is part of the White Lotus faction mission collection. Completing White Lotus missions is key to unlocking the cash wallet and Bounty Board upgrades.
The mission is a basic grab-and-dash mission on Ashika Island. Here’s how to get it done.
Shadow Company Intel mission requirements
To complete the Shadow Company Intel mission, players need to:
- Take the Shadow Company laptop form the second floor desk of the Ashika Science Center.
- Extract with the laptop.
How to access the second floor of the Ashika Science Center
The Ashika Science Center is located on the western side of the map, next to the Town Hall. Sometimes, though, you may get unlucky like I did and the Ashika Science Center will randomly spawn as a Stronghold. In that case, you will need to find or purchase a Stronghold Keycard to access the building; the enemies inside will be tougher, but you can collect better loot while completing the mission.
As a tip, if the Ashika Science Center is a Stronghold, you can actually parachute on top of the roof from the nearby rock formations and access two high-value loot containers without even needing the keycard.

Where is the Shadow Company laptop?
The Shadow Company laptop is located on the second floor reception desk, toward the exact center of the building. The laptop is located next to the locked door to the Research Center Room; if you have the key for the room, you can unlock it to get the loot, but it is not necessary to complete this mission.
Exfil with the laptop
Once you have secured and stashed the Shadow Company laptop, head to the nearest exfil spot. Simply call for exfil , hop on the chopper, and the mission is complete.

In our DMZ Shadow Company Intel, Laptop in Ashika Science Center Location guide, we will show you where to find the laptop needed for the mission. The quest description says: “Take the Shadow Company laptop from the 2nd floor desk in the Ashika Science Center.” So, you first have to know where the Science Center is, then actually locate the laptop, take it and exfil successfully. This article is going to help you do all that.
Shadow Company Laptop in Ashika Science Center Location in DMZ Shadow Company Intel
The location of the Shadow Company Laptop for the DMZ Shadow Company Intel mission is on the second floor of the Ashika Science Center, as we’ve already said. Now, the first step is to figure out where the Science Center is in the first place. We’ve marked it for you on the map below. It’s the vaguely H-shaped building to the east of the Town Center, in the northwest area of Ashika Island. So, what you need to do is get to the second floor of the place. The laptop itself will be on the reception counter in the center-right portion of the building. Grab it and exfil at your earliest convenience. Do be careful not to run into another team if at all possible.
There you go, that’s where you’ll find the location of the Shadow Company Laptop in the Ashika Science Center for the DMZ Shadow Company Intel mission. Naturally, there might also be other teams trying to do the same thing, so watch your back. The mission won’t finish until you exfil successfully, so keep that in mind, too. And that about does it for this guide, I would say. If you need help with something else in the game, take a gander at some of our other guide. Where to find the Research Center Room key in Warzone 2 DMZ
A tough key to locate in DMZ
Provided by Activision Call of Duty: Warzone 2 DMZ screenshot.
With the arrival of Ashika Island, Call of Duty DMZ players have a whole new crop of content to explore and unlock. A part of that content are keys, which are used the same way as they are in Al Mazrah. Players need to find keys in order to open locked doors on the map, most of which hold some expensive loot or key mission items. Of course, since the keys are used to access valuable loot, players often have a difficult time finding them in both Al Mazrah and Ashika Island. However, one of the tougher keys that DMZ players have been struggling to find on Ashika Island is the Research Center Room key.
Unfortunately for players, the Research Center Room key is found through random luck, just like most other keys in DMZ. However, there are a couple of methods that players can use to boost their chances of finding the Research Center Room key.
Finding the Research Center Room key in DMZ
As DMZ veterans will know, you can find pretty much any key by eliminating AI soldiers and searching their bodies. Sometimes, the soldiers will have a random key on them, which you can loot and extract with or use in your current match.
However, players can also track down high-value targets (HVTs) on the map, as these enemies hold a higher chance of having a key on them. Finally, searching loot crates around Ashika Island is the least likely way to find a key, but the Research Center Room key can be found through searching the crates.
Once you have managed to loot the Research Center Room key, you will need to visit the Research Center on Ashika Island. This is an unnamed location in the E5 quadrant on the map. The building you are looking for is the H-shaped one in the middle of E5. You can use the Research Center Room key to gain access to a locked door on the second floor of the building.

The Research Center Room is situated inside the Science Center building at the Town Center POI on Ashika Island. For the first time Rosatom Fuel Division supplied fresh nuclear fuel to the world’s only floating nuclear cogeneration plant in the Arctic
The fuel was supplied to the northernmost town of Russia along the Northern Sea Route.
The first in the history of the power plant refueling, that is, the replacement of spent nuclear fuel with fresh one, is planned to begin before 2024. The manufacturer of nuclear fuel for all Russian nuclear icebreakers, as well as the Akademik Lomonosov FNPP, is Machinery Manufacturing Plant, Joint-Stock Company (MSZ JSC), a company of Rosatom Fuel Company TVEL that is based in Elektrostal, Moscow Region.
The FNPP includes two KLT-40S reactors of the icebreaking type. Unlike convenient ground-based large reactors (that require partial replacement of fuel rods once every 12-18 months), in the case of these reactors, the refueling takes place once every few years and includes unloading of the entire reactor core and loading of fresh fuel into the reactor.
The cores of KLT-40 reactors of the Akademik Lomonosov floating power unit have a number of advantages compared to the reference ones: a cassette core was used for the first time in the history of the unit, which made it possible to increase the fuel energy resource to 3-3.5 years between refuelings, and also reduce the fuel component of the electricity cost by one and a half times. The FNPP operating experience formed the basis for the designs of reactors for nuclear icebreakers of the newest series 22220. Three such icebreakers have been launched by now.
For the first time the power units of the Akademik Lomonosov floating nuclear power plant were connected to the grid in December 2019, and put into commercial operation in May 2020. The supply of nuclear fuel from Elektrostal to Pevek and its loading into the second reactor is planned for 2024. The total power of the Akademik Lomonosov FNPP, supplied to the coastal grid of Pevek without thermal energy consumption on shore, is about 76 MW, being about 44 MW in the maximum thermal power supply mode. The FNPP generated 194 million kWh according to the results of 2023. The population of Pevek is just a little more than 4 thousand, while the FNPP has a potential for supplying electricity to a city with a population of up to 100 thousand people. After the FNPP commissioning two goals were achieved. These include first of all the replacement of the retiring capacities of the Bilibino NPP, which has been operating since 1974, as well as the Chaunskaya TPP, which has already been operating for more than 70 years. Secondly, energy is supplied to the main mining companies in western Chukotka in the Chaun-Bilibino energy hub a large ore and metal cluster, including gold mining companies and projects related to the development of the Baimsk ore zone. In September 2023, a 110 kilovolt power transmission line with a length of 490 kilometers was put into operation, connecting the towns of Pevek and Bilibino. The line increased the reliability of energy supply from the FNPP to both Bilibino consumers and mining companies, the largest of which is the Baimsky GOK. The comprehensive development of the Russian Arctic is a national strategic priority. To increase the NSR traffic is of paramount importance for accomplishment of the tasks set in the field of cargo shipping. This logistics corridor is being developed due regular freight voyages, construction of new nuclear-powered icebreakers and modernization of the relevant infrastructure. Rosatom companies are actively involved in this work. Rosatom Fuel Company TVEL (Rosatom Fuel Division) includes companies fabricating nuclear fuel, converting and enriching uranium, manufacturing gas centrifuges, conducting researches and producing designs. As the only nuclear fuel supplier to Russian NPPs, TVEL supplies fuel for a total of 75 power reactors in 15 countries, for research reactors in nine countries, as well as for propulsion reactors of the Russian nuclear fleet. Every sixth power reactor in the world runs on TVEL fuel. Rosatom Fuel Division is the world’s largest producer of enriched uranium and the leader on the global stable isotope market. The Fuel Division is actively developing new businesses in chemistry, metallurgy, energy storage technologies, 3D printing, digital products, and decommissioning of nuclear facilities. TVEL also includes Rosatom integrators for additive technologies and electricity storage systems. Rosenergoatom, Joint-Stock Company is part of Rosatom Electric Power Division and one of the largest companies in the industry acting as an operator of nuclear power plants. It includes, as its branches, 11 operating NPPs, including the FNPP, the Scientific and Technical Center for Emergency Operations at NPPs, Design and Engineering as well as Technological companies. In total, 37 power units with a total installed capacity of over 29.5 GW are in operation at 11 nuclear power plants in Russia. Machinery Manufacturing Plant, Joint-Stock Company (MSZ JSC, Elektrostal) is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of fuel for nuclear power plants. The company produces fuel assemblies for VVER-440, VVER-1000, RBMK-1000, BN-600,800, VK-50, EGP-6; powders and fuel pellets intended for supply to foreign customers. It also produces nuclear fuel for research reactors. The plant belongs to the TVEL Fuel Company of Rosatom.
Rosatom obtained a license for the first land-based SMR in Russia
