Updated Oct 13, 2023

TikTok created another gem for activities to do with friends: PowerPoint nights. A PowerPoint night is a chill, social event with friends , family or even in a social gathering place like game night at a local brewery. To participate, everyone creates a PowerPoint on a topic of their choosing and presents it to the group. At first the idea may sound like a nightmare to anyone with a fear of public speaking, but it is quite the opposite. PowerPoint nights take all the pressure out of giving a presentation and give you, your friends and guests the opportunity to talk about a topic you love or find funny. Check out this list if this idea sounds fun and you want some PowerPoint night ideas.

These PowerPoint night ideas are a fun way for friends, colleagues or group members to share their interests, passions or stories in a structured and visually engaging manner. Get creative by choosing random topic ideas or having each participant assign each other one.

The presentation can even be beneficial and fun at the same time . For example, use this night as practice for a friend or colleague who has to present at a meeting or class. They can make the presentation a bit silly to make it less stressful, and it will even serve as a rehearsal for the real thing. Just have fun and keep everything light hearted with whatever PowerPoint night ideas you and your other participants come up with.

Frequently Asked Questions About Powerpoint night ideas

What is a powerpoint night.

A PowerPoint night is a social event where each participant presents a PowerPoint on a chosen topic. It can be informative, humorous, or downright weird. The goal is to entertain, inform, and spark engaging discussions.

How do I choose a topic for PowerPoint night?

Your topic can be just about anything! It could be funny, serious, personal, or random. The best cases often bring out your creativity, engage your audience, function as a conversation starter, and promote lively discussion.

How long should my presentation be?

Typically, PowerPoint night presentations are around 3-10 minutes long, depending on the presentation program and the number of participants. The idea is to keep it brief, engaging, and fun.

How many slides should I have in my presentation?

The number of slides will depend on your presentation style and topic. For a 3-10 minute presentation, around 5-15 drops should be enough.

Do I have to be an expert in PowerPoint to participate?

No, you don't need any PowerPoint skills at all! PowerPoint night is about having fun and engaging with friends. While fancy transitions and animations can add flair, the content and how you present it are what truly matter.

What if my PowerPoint night ideas aren't funny?

While many people opt for humorous presentations, your topic doesn't have to be funny. It can be informative, thought-provoking, or a mix. The important thing is that you're interested in it and your friends will enjoy it.

Can we do PowerPoint night virtually?

Absolutely! PowerPoint nights can be held in person or virtually. Online platforms like Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams offer screen-sharing options for presenting.

How do I make my next PowerPoint night presentation engaging?

Incorporate elements such as humor, personal stories, visuals, and interactive features like quizzes or games. Engage with your audience by asking questions and encouraging discussion.

Can PowerPoint nights be themed?

Definitely! Themed PowerPoint nights can be a fun way to narrow down topic choices and create a cohesive night of presentations. Themes can be anything from conspiracy theories to childhood memories, favorite movies, or cooking disasters.

Can I use other presentation tools besides PowerPoint?

Yes, you can! While PowerPoint is a popular choice, other presentation tools like Google Slides, Prezi, or Canva can also be used. Use whatever device you're comfortable with.

What if I'm more of a "sit quietly and enjoy my ice cream" person than a "power up a PowerPoint" person?

PowerPoint Night isn't just about the presentations - it's about having fun with your closest friends. Grab your favorite ice cream flavors, relax, and enjoy the show. Who knows, by the end of the night you might be inspired to join in on the fun!

How do I choose a topic for my presentation?

There are so many routes you can go! Dive into your love for American Girl dolls, Hogwarts house theories, or your top 10 high school musical characters.

Explore fun night ideas from social media, or unleash your creativity with obscure questions like "Which Taylor Swift's song describes each person in the room?" or "If everyone at the party was a cartoon character, who would play who?"

Can we turn Powerpoint nights into a competition?

Absolutely! Rate each presentation, and crown a "Best Presentation" and a "Worst Presentation" at the end of the night. You could even order takeout for the winner!

Can I include sound effects in my presentation?

Yes, sound effects can add a burst of energy to your presentation. Whether it's the laugh track from your own talk show segment, or dramatic tunes to accompany your two truths and a lie reveal, the sky's the limit!

How do we decide the order of presenting?

Draw names from a hat, or let the person whose current job most resembles a TV screen personality kick things off. The turns presenting can be as random or as structured as you want!

What if I'm not familiar with all the cartoon characters or pop culture references?

No worries! PowerPoint parties are all about learning new things and having a good laugh. Besides, you'll have the chance to introduce everyone to your world too!

powerpoint night ideas

As much as I enjoy a sweaty club night, or a 90-minute wait time at a hot new restaurant, every now and then, we all want to consider alternative social avenues. Namely avenues that don't require you and your friends to get dressed, glammed up, and spend a minimum of $100. That's why we're here to introduce you to a fabulous ~inside activity~, so your crew can chill together in the sweet, safe, air-conditioned indoors for as long as your hearts desire. Enter: PowerPoint nights.

Prepare your squad and get fancy with your PowerPoint skills/that Canva theme (I know your resume says "proficient in Microsoft Office")...or just use WordArt because who actually cares. It’s a super simple way to keep yourselves busy for the night—add a bit of wine to the mix and it'll become a fun drinking game if you wish. But if you're struggling to come up with a presentation topic that will grip your audience, we have you covered with these PowerPoint night ideas. 55 of them, in fact. *Cue the next slide*.

1. Disney Channel movie supremacy

Personally, I’m a High School Musical girlie till I die (the OG, ofc). But if you think it’s Twitches , I’d love to hear you try to convince me.

2. Each friend’s Kardashian-Jenner Alter Ego

There’s a Kim in every friend group. And if you organized the PowerPoint night, it might just be you.

3. The best year of your life and why

Feel free to dive back deep into the archives with this one. Don’t forget: pics or it didn’t happen!

4. Cringiest middle school photos

Take a gander down Facebook memory lane and find the most embarrassing photos of the friend group that still live on the interwebs. Warning: looking at these snaps may cause physical pain. (But it’s worth it for the lols.)

5. Your most-recent rabbit hole

If you’re anything like me, you can get sucked into rabbit holes on TikTok or Wikipedia—whether it’s deep-diving into some influencer beef or learning about a wild psychological phenomenon. Here’s your chance to put all that time you invested into the videos and surface-level Googling to good use and share your newfound knowledge with your friends.

6. The most iconic set of twins in history

This can be famous fraternals or just identicals that you went to elementary school with. Or, maybe you *are* a twin and you can make the PowerPoint all about you!

7. The best chain restaurant and why

Are you a Chili’s stan, Outback obsessor, or Red Lobster devotee? Prove why your fast-casual chain of choice is superior, with photos and menu highlights.

8. The ultimate cocktail championship

Explain why your boozy bev of choice is the best of all time, and bring in samples to really prove your point. Cocktail night 🤝 PowerPoint night.

9. Each friend’s celebrity lookalike

Forget about that one TikTok filter, you can do better. I wish I could see the side-by-side comparisons myself.

10. The makeup product you can’t live without

Everyone has that one go-to they’ve been using since like, senior year of high school. No gatekeeping here: let your friends in on your little secret weapon, and maybe even do a tutorial to show off all the goodness.

11. Ugliest outfit awards

Sometimes fashion risks don’t pay off. Look back through some of your old OOTDs (or digi camera shots from middle/high school/college) and pick out the cringiest of the cringe.

12. Guessing the last person each friend texted

If your friends all assume your last text was to your ex…it might be time to reevaluate some things.

13. Seeing the future

Pick a number—5, 10, 20, and 50 all work well—and decide what each friend will be doing that many years in the future. Look into that crystal ball, baby!

14. Which friend would die first in a horror movie

If you’re not sure, there’s a solid chance it’s you.

15. The house you would buy if you had $10 million.

It can be anywhere in the world, and it should definitely have a pool.

16. Coke vs. Pepsi

Pick your champion and fight the good fight.

17. Each friend’s red, green, and beige flag

Don’t know what a beige flag is? Read this story to find out…and then think hard about the weird sh*t your friends do.

18. The ultimate sandwich combo

First, you explain the best selection of ingredients to put on a sandwich. Then, you share the best accompaniment to go with said sandwich (chips, apple slices, a brownie…you get the jist).

19. Why [insert celebrity crush] should choose you as their life partner.

You might as well shoot your shot in writing…maybe your friends will send the PowerPoint to their manager?

20. What each friend’s alternate career would be

Basically, each slide should go like this: “If [insert name] wasn’t doing [insert profession] they would be doing [insert thing they would thrive at].” And then explain why, duh.

21. The most iconic celebrity coupling

I urge you to dig reaaaal deep in the archives for this one. If you need some inspo, check out this lis t of celebrities you probably forgot dated in the 2010s.

22. Your favorite conspiracy theory

Do you believe the moon landing was fake? Or that Avril Lavigne was replaced by a body double? Now’s the chance to make your point heard. And if you’re a true realist, you can just use this time to share the conspiracy theory that entertains you the most.

23. Rating the friend group based on their driving abilities

I know you immediately just thought of one friend that you never, by any means, want to get in the car with.

24. The best treats from your childhood

Scooby Snack squad, rise up.

25. Things you think are overrated

Consider this a deinfluencing session for all of your closest friends. And a vent session for you.

26. The funniest YouTube videos of all time

Personally, I’m torn between David After Dentist and Charlie Bit My Finger .

27. Your [insert upcoming season] bucket list

You know, just a casual list of must-dos for the winter, spring, summer, or fall season, depending on which one is coming up. All activities must be completed with friends, ofc.

28. Ranking cartoon characters by hotness

Some people have a thing for Larry the Lobster from Spongebob , and others can’t take their eyes off of Princess Jasmine. Both are normal and fine and understandable.

29. Your friends as Shrek characters

Cast everyone as all the creatures from Far, Far Away. This also makes a pretty solid group Halloween costume, just saying.

30. Ranking of who’s most likely to get the final rose on The Bachelor

You can predict the four hometown dates and then the eventual winner of the current Bach season (no looking at spoilers allowed!!).

31. The friend group trivia game

This is your chance to see if everyone in the group chat can answer the most obscure questions about each other. You can cheat by having each person submit the q's to whoever's making the presentation.

32. Predictions of who Pete Davidson will date next

There have been a lot of memes circulating feat. Pete with Meryl Streep, but it honestly could be anyone. Your job is to make a case for each one.

33. Explain that image

You can really have fun digging up the ghosts of social media past with this one: Pull random pics from v far back in everyone's Facebook history, if anyone still actually uses it (like we’re talking the Picnik days). Then each person in the group has to sit in the virtual hotseat and give details about who/what/where/when/why that photo was taken.

34. Hottest Disney Channel character rating

Pretty self-explanatory. All you have to do is explain why it's Cody Martin.

35. Everyone's worst ex

Soooo, this one could get a little bit heated, but it's a conversation starter for sure. It also requires knowing your friend group and its history very well (see the friend trivia PowerPoint first).

36. The most [insert zodiac sign] thing each person has ever done

Permission to lightly roast the Leos—I can say that since I am one—and Scorpios in the room. Be gentle with your Pisces friends, though.

37. Celebs who look exactly alike

If you've ever seen any movie with Margot Robbie or Samara Weaving in it, you probably just assumed they were the same person. There are enough of these doppelgangers to make a full presentation, trust me.

38. Beyoncé songs to describe each person

Someone's gonna be "Sorry" and someone's gonna be "Single Ladies" and that's okay.

39. When we peaked

A case study on the best collective time in your friend group. Feel free to use IG as photographic evidence.

40. Which American Girl dolls you'd all be

Every friend group has a Samantha.

41. Everyone's love language

FYI, no need to stick to "quality time" and the other classics. Chicken nuggets at 3 a.m. is a real one, too.

42. Superlatives, adult edition

Forget whatever superlatives you guys got when you were in school (if you were one of those cool people). Award each of your pals an adult version of superlatives, such as most likely to Irish exit a party, most likely to order takeout even after a full Trader Joe's trip, etc.

43. Your Euphoria high school outfits

This really needs to be done by a friend who has legit Photoshop skills, but basically you're swapping everyone's regular photos with a Euphoria high school look .

44. What reality show each of you should try out for

Maybe it's Love Island UK, or perhaps it's Project Runway or Real Housewives. W ho's to say?

45. Who each friend was in a former lifetime

For example, I was in the Salem witch trials (taking no further questions at this time). Perhaps one of your other friends was a badass bartender during the Prohibition, or in the crowd at the first Woodstock in a past life.

46. Who has the hottest parents

You might need to be careful with this one. But I know you already know the answer.

47. Where you should take your next group trip

The most efficient way to pick the next friend-cation.

48. Your favorite comedian and why

Come prepared with clips to show your friends why your comedian of choice is the funniest of them all.

49. T.Swift era explainer

Go ahead and decide which of Taylor's many album eras suits each person the best. You can be an “Anti-Hero” and still belong in the Lover era, I really believe that!

50. Rating your kiss list

This one is def one to save for a hang with your closest friends (you know, the ones who can already rattle off most of the names on your list). Maybe just do a top three if time is of the essence.

51. Celebrity freaky Friday

Is there a superstar whose life you think you could handle for 24 hours? If yes, present all of the chaotic choices you'd make in their famous body. Would you DM Paul Mescal during your day as Dua Lipa? Maybe wire money to your own account with Kim Kardashian's Face ID access? The world is your oyster.

52. Your friends as famous monuments

Some people have center stage Statue of Liberty vibes, while others walk through life with the Eiffel Tower's powerful grace. For each member of your crew, pick a major landmark that energetically aligns with them. Warning: Counterarguments are inevitable with this subject.

53. Big three cities

You know your astrological sun, moon, and rising signs ? For each of your friends, pick three cities that represent their vibes in different ways. Your crew's resident party girl is def a Miami rising.

54. Dissecting DMs

Only the brave will be open to taking on this subject, but it calls for you to critically analyze your game. Pull out the flirty dating app/DM/iMessage screenshots, and grade your lines based on creativity, effectiveness, and cringe level. It might get a bit embarrassing, but remember that you're among friends!

55. Things that don't make sense

This one is inspired by the legendary TikTok trend of the same name. Round up a few concepts that just don't click in your brain, and explain why they simply just don't work for you.

15 Fresh PowerPoint Night Ideas That’ll Steal the Show

presentation about a friend

Few things top a girls night, especially when there’s wine involved. But what’s better than a wine night with your girlfriends? Drinks and a show of course. The PowerPoint night is one of the only good things to come out of quarantine. Since then, it has blown up on every platform for its risqué and entertaining topics.  A thrilling PowerPoint presentation party is the perfect way to spice up a night-in and add some flavor to your fun! We’ve all seen viral TikTok videos of the self-deprecating yet hilarious PowerPoint categories and texted in our group chat, “You guys, we HAVE to do this.” Then the time comes to find that killer topic and your mind is annoyingly blank. Depending on the mood of your night, there are several different categories to choose from. Your idea needs to be original (sounding), relatable to your group and surprising enough to stand out.

Here are the top 15 fresh ideas for your next PowerPoint night that’ll steal the show.

Plus, check out the amazing gifts to spice up your powerpoint night, 1. american girl doll rice purity scores.

If you weren’t part of the American Girl Doll phase, you missed out. These virtuous dolls served as the material mentors of our childhoods, but in the wise words of Cobra Starship’s hit song, “Good Girls Go Bad.” We all know Kit Kittredge isn’t as innocent as she pretends to be. That blond bob, lavender cardigan and flat paneled floral skirt isn’t fooling anyone. It’s time to let the cat out of the bag.

2. Recasting Your Friends as High School Musical Characters

Every friend group has a Taylor Mckessie and a Sharpay Evans. The world just wouldn’t be the same without them. Whether or not you were a basketball jock or theatre kid, this topic will always be a hit on a PowerPoint night. You can’t mess with the classics.

3. Your Friend’s Celebrity Lookalikes

If you can nail this topic, you’re guaranteed to come out on top of PowerPoint night. There is nothing more satisfying or hilarious than putting the pieces together that your friend looks exactly like Buford from Phineas and Ferb (true story). Celebrities don’t have to be people: cartoons are up for grabs too. Let’s use this as an opportunity to establish some lasting comparisons and inside jokes people. Get to thinking!

4. Who You’d Cast in a Live Action Shrek

If you’re looking for a more comedic take on presentation night , look no further. Not only is Shrek a funny category in itself, but casting a live action movie with no restraints on who you choose is the recipe for a winning topic. Don’t limit yourself by thinking the  Shrek  cast is the only option. Some honorable mentions are Ratatouille, Madagascar or Ice Age . Nevertheless, kudos to the mastermind behind this genius idea.

5. Which Reality TV Show Each Friend Would Thrive on

Reality TV is a neglected realm in the world of PowerPoint nights, making this presentation idea golden. Take this as an opportunity to reflect on some of the most “quality” and “talented” TV personalities out there. Maybe your best friend would kill it on Real Housewives of New Jersey , or maybe they would channel their inner Snooki on Jersey Shore . Whatever it is, there’s a show for everyone.

6.  What Cartoons Would Each of Your Friends Best Fit Into?

Don’t get this category confused with celeb lookalikes. This is where personalities come into play.

“ My friend is the human form of Ms. Frizzle from The Magic School Bus . She acts literally just like her. Once we made that connection we can’t unsee it, it’s hilarious,” University of Tennessee sophomore Elizabeth Duncan said.

This topic takes physical similarities one step further as substance is added to the argument.

7. The Five Best Nights at College

This idea is sure to be a fan favorite. There’s no better feeling than reminiscing on a shared memory that spirals into a 30-minute session of animated storytelling. Compile your most iconic Snapchats and epic videos to create the presentation of a lifetime. This idea will incite conversation, laughter and the mutual agreement that your PowerPoint is the best one of the night.

8. What sides of TikTok Would Former U.S. Presidents be on

As everyone knows, TikTok can get weird. There are so many segues and avenues that can lead you to content you never thought you’d see. That being said, this leads us to our eighth PowerPoint idea. It’s easier if not more entertaining to just go off looks here. For example, JFK’s face screams home renovation and clean up TikTok, while Eisenhower is a total Frog TikTok guy.   You might agree with these comparisons, you might not. However, what we can agree on is that your friends are never going to see this one coming.

9. Are They Hot or are They Tall?

Ladies, it’s time to face the facts with this sad but true PowerPoint topic . Some people prefer height over everything else, but that’s not the topic at hand. Yes, for many height is an attractive and important factor in a partner, but dare it be said…  are they just tall?  Let’s get the ball rolling on this controversial conversation.

10. Top 10 Worst Trends of the 2000’s

This idea gives you the opportunity to take a trip down memory lane. Dust off those yearbooks and pull out those photo albums to review the iconic fashion  fails of the 2000’s. Oh yes, you know what they are. Do crimped hair, cargo pants or jelly sandals ring a bell?

“I was recently talking with my roommates about how in middle school I wore jean shorts over my pink leggings. I paired it with a green top and called it my ‘watermelon outfit’. Can’t say I miss it but it’s hilarious to look back on,” Auburn University junior Kylie Murray said.

The only good thing that came out of 2000’s trends is Lip Smackers. Nevertheless, not only will this idea be fun for your group of friends to listen to, but for you to create!

11. Disney Characters You Would not let Hold my Drink at a Party

To be frank, while Disney is mystical and magical, it is filled with supporting role creeps. Off the top of your head, you could probably name five to 10 Disney characters that come off a little sketchy. For example, even though the Baboon from The Lion King doesn’t give off creep vibes, he’s still too off his rocker to be trusted with any form of edible substance. Now activate that Disney+ account and comb through those childhood classics!

12. Predicting your Friend’s Futures

It’s said that no one can predict your future but for the sake of PowerPoint night, yes they can. You can get creative and come up with each of your friends’ future starter packs. You can also leave the future up to fate through M.A.S.H. Either way, this is an easy and fun topic dive into & test the knowledge of your besties.

13. Rating Your Friend’s Drunk Snacks

The night is coming to an end, and you leave the bar and walk toward your fridge. When the moment strikes, different foods call to different people. Spicy Cheetos are the only thing that’ll make the night right for some. For others, it’s pizza rolls and a bag of Skittles. And for some roommates, it’s turkey.

“My roommate ate a pound of turkey last semester before she went to bed. I have a literal video of her eating a bowl of turkey with a spoon a week ago. She gets straight zeroes for that one,” Auburn University junior Bess Tiller said.

Whatever floats your boat , put it in the PowerPoint.

14. Rating the Most Attractive Fast-Food Mascots

This topic is definitely out of the box, but it’s too good not to include in this list. As a new contribution to the PowerPoint world, this idea is the perfect combination of relatable and risqué. If you take the time to research, you’ll find that food mascots have been slept on. Example number one, Tony the Tiger, for obvious reasons.

15. Rating Your Friends as Getaway Drivers

We all have those friends who currently drive like getaway drivers without being asked (cue swerving car sound). Now is the time to give them credit. Agility, speed and the ability to swiftly maneuver through traffic, without causing an accident, are all taken into account here. Channel your inner “ Baby Driver ” and let’s put this PowerPoint night into gear!

15 Funny PowerPoint Night Ideas To Try At Your Next Hangout

presentation about a friend

One of my favorite new college theme parties is having a PowerPoint night with my friends. It’s the perfect activity for when you want to do something entertaining, but you don’t necessarily want to go to a frat house or have to worry about braving a big crowd. PowerPoint night videos are all over TikTok right now , and if you haven’t tried one yet, they’re about to make your hangouts so much better.

There are many ways to plan an entertaining PowerPoint night with your besties, and the best part is, it’s pretty simple to execute (you can even host one virtually!). At its core, a PowerPoint party is a gathering where every attendee creates and gives a presentation on a topic of their choice. But instead of a boring academic presentation, you can make the topic as funny, playful, or niche as you’d like using Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Keynote to craft your slideshow.

The key is to get creative with the topics you present, whether it’s a Google slideshow about your exes, a niche one about Taylor Swift conspiracies , or a funny ranking of who’s most likely to win Too Hot To Handle , or a breakdown of your roommates as Disney villains You can even make it a competition, create scoring sheets, and give the winner a grand prize at the end! Think: a delicious-smelling candle , cute dorm room decor , or simply a shout-out on Instagram. Ready to play? Here are the best PowerPoint night ideas for your next party.

  • Your friends as Disney characters
  • Your friends as celebrity lookalikes
  • Your friends as dog breeds
  • What decade each of your friends would fit in with

  • What reality tv show each friend belongs to
  • “Dance Moms” pyramid of the friend group

50 Creative Ideas For Your Next PowerPoint Night

presentation about a friend

TikTok is the newest, hippest (just ask any twenty-something year old) social media platform and arguably the biggest thing since Instagram’s launch in 2010. The platform boasts over 1 billion users and has been downloaded an upwards of 200 million times in the United States alone. You can find all sorts of videos on TikTok from food recipes and fashion, to presentation tips. Its diverse, entertaining, short-form content is what makes the app so favorable across many different age groups and demographics.

Many trends and recommendations have come to light because of the ever-popular social media app like dances, sounds, and meals. But another TikTok trend that has taken millennials and Gen Z by storm is PowerPoint nights. PowerPoint nights became especially popular in 2020 during the pandemic when friends and family were looking for ways to connect with one another via technology. Essentially, friends create presentation decks about cheeky topics (unrelated to work or school) and present them to each other either in-person or through video calls. Oftentimes served with plenty of snacks and beverages, PowerPoint nights have become a new Friday night “thing” to do. A trend we can get behind.

And of course, we’re thrilled that it put presentations on the map for something fun other than board meetings and thesis assignments.

So we’re tapping in. Here are 50 creative ideas for your next PowerPoint night. Extra points if you use Beautiful.ai and tag us on TikTok.

Want to create a viral-worthy presentation in half the time? Let DesignerBot take the wheel . While PowerPoint night topics are subjective, DesignerBot can help you pull in facts, images, or information on your topic. For example, for a presentation on "water bottle brands ranked" you can enter the prompt "top 10 water bottle brands" and watch DesignerBot generate the deck for you like magic. You can then edit the slide(s) to reflect your personal rankings and thoughts without wasting time sourcing brand names, photos, or logos. You might even ask DesignerBot to pick a PowerPoint night topic for you— the possibilities are endless.

There is a lot of social relationships that an individual may have and become part of his life, such as a marital relationship or an individual’s relationship with his family, but friendship is a very different thing.

Talk to your friend as if you are not afraid to complain to him or cry in front of him or express your joy for simple things. This friendship, which lasts forever and does not disappear.

Friendship must be durable and lasting and permanent. Forgiveness , love , honesty, friendliness and kindness are all qualities of good friend, and  you find your friend wherever you go ,does not go away and does not interrupt the communication between you.

Friendship is a treasure if we want to describe it ,a relationship, if it is true, is not punctuated by lies, doubts, hypocrisy or hatred, is based on truth and never dies.

The true friend is the one who loves you and approaches you without charge or interest.

He just want you to be happy ,and accept your sins if you sin, love you and prevent  you from as much harm as possible.

Friendship is an important relationship in human life.

The true friend who supports you in life do not lose his friendship forever.

The person will not meet a true friendship every day.

Thank you for your kind attention and I hope that the topic has impressed you.

Did Rebeca Andrade, Simone Biles, and Jordan Chiles inspire THE photo of Paris 2024?

Rebeca Andrade, Simone Biles, and Jordan Chiles at Paris 2024.

Artistic gymnastics has officially wrapped here at Paris 2024 , but not before our three women’s floor medallists captured what is arguably one of the best images of the Games.

Rebeca Andrade stormed to the top of the podium with an emphatic routine that saw her secure a score of 14.166.

All-around champion Simone Biles came in second with 14.133.

Jordan Chiles , meanwhile, had initially finished fifth following her routine, but an inquiry resulted in a revised score, bumping her up to third to take the bronze.

Gymnastics has been a cornerstone of friendship here in Paris, something this trio just reinforced on the podium.

  • Rebeca Andrade captures floor gold
  • How loss fueled U.S. gymnast Jordan Chiles

Biles and Chiles hold hands with Olympic gold medallist Rebeca Andrade.

After Andrade, an athlete who has fought her way back from three ACL tears, was presented with her gold medal, Biles and Chiles simultaneously bowed to the now two-time Olympic champion.

Back on their feet, the three held hands and took in this moment before the anthem of Brazil filled the stadium.

The first or the second image are worthy contenders for THE picture of the Olympics this year.

It is a moment that truly embodies the spirit and comradery of the Games.

'Absolutely crazy': Arisa Trew's parents struggle for words in ecstatic interview after skateboarding gold

It's not easy being a parent – even when your daughter has just become Australia's youngest ever Olympic medallist.

First the agonising waiting as skater after skater failed to knock Arisa Trew, 14, off the top of the podium following a flawless and fearless final run in the women's park skateboarding .

Then the reality of what their daughter had just achieved was not even close to sinking in as Simon and Aiko Trew struggled for words to describe what they'd seen at La Concorde on Tuesday (early Wednesday AEST).

Nine's Brooke Boney interviews Simon and Aiko Trew at La Concorde after their daughter, Arisa Trew, won gold.  Nine

"We can't believe it. It's crazy, crazy, absolutely crazy," Simon said.

"Yeah, it's just don't know what to say.

"It's just somebody who loves skateboarding and having fun.

"Her coach pulled her through. Trev, you know, he did the most amazing job, you know, like he got her over the line, just absolutely crazy."

On the Nine coverage, interviewer Brooke Boney was almost equally as excited as she asked if they had ever imagined their daughter winning Olympic gold in front of skateboarding legend Tony Hawk and millions of people watching around the world.

Asked where his Gold Coast girl got the "guts and courage" to do what she did, Simon joked "me" before quickly recanting.

"No, no, it's just going out and having fun and enjoying the sport and, yeah, just being active and having a good time," he said.

"That's all we've ever encouraged her to do. Have friends and enjoy skating, surfing, everything."

While the gold medal is nice and all, Simon suggested Arisa – no relation to fellow Australian teen skateboarding prodigy Ruby Trew – might have her eyes on a bigger prize: hoovering up the Olympic collector pins that seem to be taking over Paris.

"I think she's more interested in just collecting the pins," he laughed.

Aiko had good news on that front: "She's collected 63 pins."

Mufasa: The Lion King New Trailer Teases Mufasa and Scar's Early Friendship | D23 2024

The upcoming origin story closed out d23's big friday night presentation..

Alex Stedman Avatar

Mufasa: The Lion King, Barry Jenkins' upcoming CGI/live-action hybrid origin story , served as the closing act of D23's big Friday night presentation, showing off some new footage and an original song.

The footage shown to attendees at the Disney convention in Anaheim, California, focuses on the early days of the relationship between Mufasa and Scar, known then as Taka. Mufasa is shown playing with Taka, although it's made clear he's not supposed to be doing that. Even still, the two are shown running and playing through the Pridelands as an original song by Lin-Manuel Miranda, "I Always Wanted a Brother," plays.

The two grow up as the song continues, similar to the growing-up montage in the original's "Hakuna Matata." The footage ends as they challenge each other to race to the other side.

D23 attendees also got a look at a new trailer (above), which was released online shortly after. It shows Mufasa and Scar/Taka's first meeting, with the latter wanting to bring Mufasa in. Taka is viewed as the future king at that point, and wants Mufasa to have a home. It, too, shows a softer glimpse at the two's early friendship before they become enemies.

Disney also released a new poster of Taka/Scar, which you can see below.

presentation about a friend

Jenkins and Miranda were on hand to present the footage and trailer, along with cast members Aaron Pierre, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Seth Rogen, Billy Eichner, Theo Somolu, Braelyn Rankins, and Anika Noni Rose. The presentation closed with a performance of “Nants’ Ingonyama” and new song “Ngomso” by Lebo M., who contributes to the film’s music.

In addition to the actors who attended D23, the cast also includes John Kani, Tiffany Boone, Kagiso Lediga, Preston Nyman, Mads Mikkelsen, Thandiwe Newton, Lennie James, Keith David, Donald Glover, Blue Ivy Carter, Folake Olowofoyeku, Joanna Jones, Thuso Mbedu, Sheila Atim, Abdul Salis, Dominique Jennings and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter. Read the official synopsis below:

Exploring the unlikely rise of the beloved king of the Pride Lands, “Mufasa: The Lion King” enlists Rafiki to relay the legend of Mufasa to young lion cub Kiara, daughter of Simba and Nala, with Timon and Pumbaa lending their signature schtick. Told in flashbacks, the story introduces Mufasa as an orphaned cub, lost and alone until he meets a sympathetic lion named Taka—the heir to a royal bloodline. The chance meeting sets in motion an expansive journey of an extraordinary group of misfits searching for their destiny—their bonds will be tested as they work together to evade a threatening and deadly foe.

Mufasa: The Lion King hits theaters on December 20. For more out of D23 2024, check out our roundup of everything announced at the massive Disney Entertainment Showcase.
