Vismaya Movie Story - విస్మ‌య ఎవ‌రు?

అశోక్ (కాంతార కిషోర్‌), అమృత (ప్రియ‌మ‌ణి) భార్యాభ‌ర్త‌లు. అశోక్ పోలీస్ ఆఫీస‌ర్‌గా ప‌నిచేస్తుంటాడు. అమృత డాక్ట‌ర్‌. విస్మ‌య అనే అమ్మాయి యాక్సిడెంట్‌లో చ‌నిపోతుంది. ఆ కేసు ఇన్వెస్టిగేష‌న్‌ను అశోక్ చేప‌డ‌తాడు.

అత‌డి ప‌రిశోధ‌న‌లో విస్మ‌య‌ను హ‌త్య చేసింది ఆమె ల‌వ‌ర్ విశాల్ అని తెలుతుంది. అత‌డిని అరెస్ట్ చేస్తారు. కానీ అమృత ద్వారా విశాల్ ల‌వ‌ర్ విస్మ‌య వేరు, చ‌నిపోయిన విస్మ‌య వేరే అమ్మాయి అనే నిజం అశోక్ తెలుసుకుంటాడు.

ఇద్ద‌రి డెడ్ బాడీలు ఒకే కారులో దొరుకుతాయి. ఒకే పేరుతో ఉన్న ఏ మాత్రం సంబంధంలేని అమ్మాయిలు ఒకే కారులోకి ఎలా వ‌చ్చారు? వారిని హ‌త్య చేసింది ఎవ‌రు? ఆ కేసు మిస్ట‌రీ వీడ‌టంలో అశోక్‌కు అమృత ఎలా స‌హాయం చేసింది? ఈ హ‌త్య‌ల‌తో సురేష్‌కు ఎలాంటి సంబంధం ఉంద‌న్న‌దే విస్మ‌య క‌థ‌.

విస్మ‌య సినిమా మ‌ర్డ‌ర్ ఇన్వెస్టిగేష‌న్ థ్రిల్ల‌ర్‌గా రూపొందింది. మూడు ఉప‌క‌థ‌ల‌తో ముడిప‌డి ఈ సినిమా సాగుతుంది. ఈ మూడు క‌థ‌ల్ని లింక్ చేస్తూ ఉత్కంఠ‌భ‌రితంగా విస్మ‌య సినిమాను తెర‌కెక్కించాడు ద‌ర్శ‌కుడు విన‌య్ బాలాజీ.

స‌మాజంలో జ‌రిగే కొన్ని సంఘ‌ట‌న‌ల నుంచి స్ఫూర్తి పొందుతూ మెయిన్ క‌థ‌ను రాసుకున్న‌ట్లుగా అనిపిస్తుంది. ఏ మాత్రం సంబంధం లేని ఇద్ద‌రు అమ్మాయిలు ఒకే కారులోకి ఎలా వ‌చ్చార‌నే పాయింట్‌ను క‌న్వీన్సింగ్‌గా రాసుకున్నాడు.

విస్మ‌య ప్రేమ‌క‌థ‌...

విస్మ‌య అనే పేరు క‌లిగిన అమ్మాయి కారు యాక్సిడెంట్‌లో చ‌నిపోయే సీన్‌, ఆ త‌ర్వాత జ‌రిగే ఇన్వెస్టిగేష‌న్‌తో రొటీన్‌గా ఈ సినిమా మొద‌ల‌వుతుంది. కేస్ క్లోజ్ చేసే స‌మ‌యంలో తాము అనుకున్న విస్మ‌య‌, కారులో చ‌నిపోయిన విస్మ‌య వేర్వేరు అనే ట్విస్ట్‌తో సెకండాఫ్ ప‌ట్ల ఇంట్రెస్ట్ క్రియేట్ చేశారు డైరెక్ట‌ర్‌.

విస్మ‌య ఫ్లాష్‌బ్యాక్‌, ల‌వ్ స్టోరీతో చూపించారు. మ‌రోవైపు త‌న తెలివితేట‌ల‌తో కేసు చిక్కుముడుల‌ను ఒక్కొక్క‌టి కిషోర్ విప్పుకుంటే వెళ్లే సీన్స్ థ్రిల్‌ను పంచుతాయి. ఫ‌స్ట్ హాఫ్ ఒక మ‌ర్డ‌ర్ కేస్‌, సెకండాఫ్ మ‌రో మ‌ర్డ‌ర్ మిస్ట‌రీని రివీల్ చేయ‌డం బాగుంది. వాయిస్ ఓవ‌ర్ ద్వారా అస‌లు హ‌త్య‌లు ఎలా జ‌రిగాయో వివ‌రించ‌డం (Vismaya Movie Review) డిఫ‌రెంట్‌గా ఉంది.

కిషోర్‌, ప్రియ‌మ‌ణి యాక్టింగ్ హైలైట్‌...

నిజాయితీప‌రుడైన పోలీస్ ఆఫీస‌ర్‌గా కిషోర్ న‌ట‌న ఈ సినిమాకు పెద్ద ప్ల‌స్ పాయింట్‌గా నిలిచింది. న‌ట‌న ప‌రంగా అత‌డు త‌ప్ప మిగిలిన క్యారెక్ట‌ర్స్ పూర్తిగా తేలిపోయాయి. ప్రియ‌మ‌ణి గెస్ట్ రోల్‌లో మాత్ర‌మే క‌నిపిస్తుంది. ఆమె క్యారెక్ట‌ర్‌కు పెద్ద‌గా ఇంపార్టెన్స్ లేదు. మిగిలిన న‌టీన‌టులు యాక్టింగ్ బేసిక్ లెవ‌ల్‌లోనే ఉంది.

Suspense thriller ‘Vismaya’, starring Priyamani in the lead role is winning hearts all across for its thrilling and gripping plot. Vismaya is the Telugu dubbed version of the Kannada movie ‘Nanna Prakara’ which was released in the year 2019. Among many other Kannada films that are receiving love from all across the nation, ‘Vismaya’ is also being watched by many.

‘Nanna Prakara’ was a blockbuster hit at the box office and ‘Vismaya’ is now a hit on the OTT platform. Priyamani played the leading role in this film. Kantara fame Kishore will be seen in the role of an investigation officer. Three different stories were parallelly told in this film and the connection between these stories is revealed at the end. The team will be investigating three different gruesome murders that have happened in the city and they are led to some twists and turns that shock the entire police department. These twists in the plot have impressed the audience as well.

Director Vinay Balaji made his directorial debut with this film but his work was so good that it looks like he is an experienced director. He is an experienced short filmmaker who has worked as a VFX provider for many films. The graphics, re-recording, camera work, and visuals in Vismaya are a huge hit.

Movie review 'Vismaya': Sarja-ing ahead, even if the film is not

A milestone in his illustrious career spread across several languages — Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu, Vismaya marks the 150th venture of Action King Arjun Sarja. The “gentleman” of action films, Sarja strikes a decent note with his portrayal to reach this milestone. Vismaya is a crime thriller revolving around a daring intelligent cop challenged by a psychopath serial killer.

Ranjith, a senior CID officer played by Arjun Sarja, has so far detected 99 cases successfully and faces a tough challenge in his 100th case. The film is another crime-based tale set on regular parameters — cops relentlessly chasing bad guys and finally nabbing them. And some twists and turns ensue. The surprise comes in the form of a background tale, inspired by the 2008 Noida double murder case of school girl Aarushi and the home help Hemraj.

An RTI activist is brutally murdered and the serial killer leaves a puzzle about his next target. While the killer goes on a killing spree, Ranjith fails to catch him. His two subordinates portrayed by Prasanna and Varalaksmi have some hilarious friendly interludes lacking seriousness. Arjun Sarja is the only saving grace in this film.

The challenge ahead gets tougher for the tough cop after he finds out that he is suffering from Parkinson’s Disease. Just like another filmy cop, nothing can stop him from shooting down the killer. When the going gets tough, the tough get going as Ranjith learns that he is the final target. While delving into why the cop is the serial killer’s last target, the story goes into flashback mode. Will Ranjith be killed? Or does he manage to catch the killer? While it’s not much of a thriller, Action King fans can revel in his acting, but for the rest, it’s just cliched. But we expect the Action King to continue till 200, and beyond!

ప్రియమణి ప్రధాన పాత్రలో నటించిన సస్పెన్స్ థ్రిల్లర్ ‘విస్మయ’.  థ్రిల్లింగ్, గ్రిప్పింగ్ ప్లాట్‌తో 2019లో కన్నడలో ‘నన్న ప్రకార’  పేరుతో వచ్చిన ఈ మూవీ సంచలన విజయం సాధించింది. ఈ చిత్రంలో నేషనల్ అవార్డు విన్నర్ ప్రియమణి కీ రోల్ పోషించింది. కిషోర్ ఇన్వెస్టిగేషన్ ఆఫీసర్ పాత్రలో మెప్పించారు. ఈ చిత్రంలో మూడు విభిన్న కథలు సమాంతరంగా రన్ అవుతూ ఉంటాయి. ఈ కథల మధ్య ఉన్న రిలేషన్ ఏంటన్నది మూవీ ఎండింగ్‌లో తెలుస్తుంది.

విస్మయలో గ్రాఫిక్స్, రీ-రికార్డింగ్, కెమెరా వర్క్, విజువల్స్‌కు మంచి పేరు వచ్చింది. దీనికి అర్జున్ రాము మ్యూజిక్ అందించారు. మనోహర్ జోషి ఈ చిత్రానికి కెమెరామెన్‌గా పనిచేశారు. సస్పెన్స్, థ్రిల్లర్ జానర్‌లో సినిమాలను ఇష్టపడేవారరికి ఈ సినిమా మంచి ఎక్స్‌పీరియన్స్ ఇస్తుంది.

Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur starrer The Family Star hit screens today amidst huge expectations. Delve into our review to know how it is.

Govardhan (Vijay Deverakonda) is an architect from a modest background, dedicated to supporting his brothers and their families. The arrival of Indu (Mrunal Thakur), a student, as a tenant in his home marks a significant turning point in his life. However, when everything seems to be going smoothly, Govardhan is confronted with a shocking revelation from Indu. Who is she, and what is her connection to his life? The answers to these questions unfold as the story progresses, which needs to be experienced on the big screen.

Plus Points:

Vijay Deverakonda entertains as a middle-class man, embodying the thoughts and behaviours typical of that societal stratum. His performance in family scenes is commendable.

Mrunal Thakur excels in her role as Indu, effectively portraying the character’s evolution before and after the interval. The lead pair’s on-screen chemistry adds charm to the proceedings.

The songs are well-composed and visually appealing on the big screen. Additionally, intermittent comedy adds to the overall enjoyment.

Minus Points:

One would anticipate compelling emotional scenes in this genre. However, the film falls short in delivering such moments. Despite Dil Raju’s claim of Family Star being a substantial love story, it fails to leave a lasting impression.

While there is potential for emotional depth, the movie primarily lacks it. Parasuram Petla’s minimal focus on the screenplay makes several scenes feel drawn out.

The placement of songs feels inappropriate, and Gopi Sundar’s background score lacks impact. The second half pales compared to the first, with a few scenes diminishing the viewing experience.

The comedy fails to elicit sufficient laughter, with Vennela Kishore’s talent being underutilized. Jagapathi Babu’s limited screen time and the fleeting presence of other characters further weaken the narrative. Also, there are a few loopholes in the script.

Technical Aspects:

Parasuram Petla’s direction and screenplay fail to engage, lacking strength and cohesion. Gopi Sundar’s music, though satisfactory in songs, falls short in enhancing key moments. While cinematography and production values are decent, editing could be improved for a better narrative flow.

On the whole, The Family Star entertains to a certain extent. Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur deliver fine performances. However, the film’s slow-paced screenplay, lack of emotional depth, ineffective background score, and weak storyline are the notable drawbacks. If you can overlook these aspects, it may still be worth a watch this weekend.
