This is my unit 9 page., unit 9- in this unit i covered spreadsheet development. i understand the uses of spreadsheets and the features available in spreadsheet. i also now know how to design a spreadsheet. i also developed and tested a spreadsheet. lastly, i reviewed the final spreadsheet design., i looked at how and why businesses use spreadsheet. this is what i have looked at, improve productivity and accuracy, ● support decision-making (e.g. scenario modelling, goal seek, regression and data mining), ● present information, ● analyse data, ● perform calculations, ● manipulate large data sets. activities where spreadsheets are used, e.g.:, for this unit i have completed four assignments. the first one being the uses and features of spreadsheet development. the second assignment to produce a design document. the third assignment being creating the spreadshet and the last assignment reviewing and testing the spreadsheet., click on the links below to view some of the work i have done for this unit., assignment 1, assignment 2, here is the link to the spreadsheet that i have created., spreadsheet, share this:.

Unit 9- Spreadsheet Development
In this unit we were given a scenario to produce a spreadsheet to manage information about the club’s season-ticket holders for a football team. The spreadsheet had three worksheets. The first one was Ticket Holder Details. The second worksheet was summary of information and the third worksheet was Ticket Type Details.
I added lots of skills in my spreadsheet such as VLOOKUP, Countif and conditional formatting. The requirements I set up for ticket holder details are to add the names, address and contact details of each ticket applicant. I also need to add at least three types of ticket such as adult, child and concession. I also need to add requested seating area and allocated seating area. My second worksheet should include summary of the totals of the season-ticket applications and ticket allocations. A series of calculations will be needed, as well as conversion of some data to charts, in order to generate management information. The third worksheet should include the type of ticket, the price of the ticket, the numbers of seats available in each seating area and any relevant further details, e.g. restrictions, age limits.
I am proud of my spreadsheet as I have used lots of skills and tools. I have also added lots of colour to my spreadsheet, and the spreadsheet is easy and clear to understand.

Unit 9: Spreadsheet Development
This unit is about spreadsheets and the development of spreadsheets. The goal of this unit is to make the student understand the uses of spreadsheets. This unit will also tell the features available in the spreadsheet. The goal of this unit is to tell us how to design a spreadsheet and how to develop and test a spreadsheet.
The highest grade you can get in this unit is Level 2 Distinction. You can get this grade by discussing the strengths and weaknesses of spreadsheets. You will also need to justify how the spreadsheets fulfil the requirements and the stated purpose. You will also need to produce a detailed worksheet and data structure of data.
The content of this unit is to tell what spreadsheet is about and the use of it. This unit will also tell us how spreadsheets help us to improve productivity and accuracy. Spreadsheets also help us to present information. This unit will also tell us how to perform calculations and use formulae.

REASONS WHY SPREADSHEETS ARE USED IN ORGANISATIONS • Business use spreadsheet to calculate how much profit they make in the companies. • School will use spread sheets to make time table for the students. • Business Spreadsheet are used to make charts like pie chart , bar chart , line graph and scatter graph. • Also you can use it to make meeting plane in businesses.
PURPOSE OF TOOLS AND TECHNIQUE • Tools and technique will be used to make the spread sheet look better. • Furthermore it will be used to improve the spreadsheet. • Lastly with the tools and technique the user will be able to design it so it is appealing for the user so the user know where averting is so it is easy to find the information.

THE PURPOSE OF THE TOOLS AND TECHNIQUES OF BOTH SPREADSHEETS • Spreadsheet 1 - For the newspaper agency, to calculate the total value there was a code to add up all the weeks and multiply it by the price.
HOW THE TOOLS ARE USED • The spreadsheets are used as they are easy for the viewer to interoperate, appealing to a modern audience. Also it is very easy to make calculations such as an average or a total.
HOW THE FUNCTIONS HELP • Functions such as the average key help the user a lot as if there any changes made such as a value that will affect the average value the spreadsheet software will automatically change it.
