Indian banking industry has been growing at a fast pace and is challenged with several aspects like new regulations from time to time, changing customer needs and perceptions. The banking system touches the lives of millions and has to be inspired by larger social purpose and has sub-verse national priorities and objectives such as rapid growth of agriculture, small industries and exports, rising of literacy rate, encouraging new entrepreneurs and development of backward areas. Technology has been playing a crucial role in the tremendous improvement of banking services and operations. This paper makes an attempt to analyze the various constructs of social banking and innovative banking in India. It also analyses some of the common issues of social banking and bank marketing. The specific objectives of this research are to study the initiatives undertaken by selected banks in India on social banking and innovative banking. The study is a conceptual one based on survey of literature. Two models of innovation 4P's of Innovation model by Bessant and Tidd (2007) and Six Dimensional Service Innovation Model by Pim den Hertog et al., (2010) were used in the study. It is observed that banks in India are moving towards sustainability through social banking and innovative service operations and offerings. It is found that both types of banks have embraced service innovation as a part of their future banking strategy and are moving continuously towards customer-centric and service-centric banks.

Technical Education systems largely depend upon the enrolment of quality input in Technical Institutions governed by both Govt. and Private sectors. Recently it has been observed that a large numbers of seats are lying vacant in technical institutions, in spite of liberal policies that are adopted by AICTE and various State Govt. with regard to admission process. The quality of enrolment is also declining. This study pertains to the admission position in the state of Odisha in various levels of technical institutions and to find out the probable solution to the present scenario in order to justify the future technical manpower requirement of the state as well as the country at large.

Innovation in distribution strategy is the key to sustain in today’s competitive market place. This is applicable for diverse sectors like PC manufacturers, retail chain, furniture industry, book sellers etc. Even the auto component makers are now changing their traditional push-type of distribution strategy especially in the replacement or aftermarket. The case is about an established company dealing in automotive filters which used the principle of pull-replenishment advocated in Theory of Constraints to increase its market share in the aftermarket segments. The company used a focusing process to identify the constraint and restructure the organization around it. In the last few years after adopting the new strategy, the company has experienced higher inventory turns, better market reach and remarkable increase in ROI by changing its distribution strategy from a push strategy to that of a push-pull strategy.

For an emerging economy like India, fast economic development is possible essentially by embracing ICT in a big way, as ICT alone can provide the requisite competitive edge that is essential for fast and sustained economic growth in a globalized environment. In its endeavor to become the ‘global services hub’, what India needs to attain is nothing but unmatched performance in respect of ICT. In this context, it is relevant to present the paper on a study of the Information Communication Technology (ICT) in the Indian Banking Industry. The researcher carried out this study to understand the overview of ICT in the Indian Banking Industry .The banking industry has undergone a major change in recent years. Global competition has forced the industry to be more agile and customer focused in all its services. Banks can no longer function in isolation, but have to operate cutting across physical boundaries. This has enthused software architects to develop suitable software development paradigms that can seamlessly integrate business functions across organizational boundaries. ICTs have been valuable in providing broader development benefits to all Indian citizens.. Banking across the world has undergone extensive changes, thanks to the profound influence of developments and trends in information communication technologies and the emerging technologies have made banking operations easier and more convenient. This paper presents the tremendous influence of information and communication technologies on banking. The paper concludes by saying that the banking technology discipline is all set for rapid. Key words: : Information Communication Technology (ICT), National Electronic Fund Transfer (NEFT), Automatic Teller Machine (ATM), Electronic Clearing System (ECS), Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT)

Introduction Despite the great diversity of natural resources and the potential to be a country with a strong economy, is a fact that Mexico has been dwindling. There are economic indicators such as the gross domestic product (GDP) apparently showing good results and positive annual growth in the country. However, if it is checked out the quality of life of the population, the reality is that no improvements are identified over time. On the otherwise, the National Consumer Price Index (Índice Nacional de Precios al Consumidor, INPC) as of April 2013 compared to April 2012, has shown an increase of 4.65%, higher percentage of 2013 against a salary increase for 2013 of 3.9% before inflation of 4.1%
